Wow, I’m off grid for one day and a crapload of awesomeness drops like a weight! I mean… What the heck man! A bevy of posters for some of the biggest movies around drops? Like really? Man oh man… So, I should get right to it right? Right! I can sense the excitement…
First up on the block is the new Snow White yarn Mirror, Mirror starring Pretty Woman herself Ms. Julia Roberts… Now, I saw the trailer the other day and… I could be interesting or it could be horrible… I just don’t know… The posters are pretty fun however.. I love the tagline on the individual poster with Julia Roberts where it says, “One bad apple.” LOL… That’s pretty cute…
Probably the biggest new poster released is for Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit. Yes, it’s just a teaser poster but it’s still a nice “Wet the Appetite” moment… God, I’m hoping that this movie is just as good as the original Lord of the Rings trilogy… Sigh… I really hope. The poster is simple but again for me at least quite effective.
In turns of groan worthy why the hell did are they making this crap is Wrath of the Titans… I know I’m still a tad bitter for how bad the first one was and how I felt duped into going to se it in 3D but this teaser poster and new banner do nothing for me. In fact they look so similar to the original posters it just makes me think of the original and then I get angry again… Grrrrr.,,,
On a lighter less anger inducing note is the new 21 jumpstreet poster. Now, I’m getting tired of the remakes and adaptations as much as the next guy, but this actually looks funny, mainly because Channing Tatum is hilarious in the trailer, and he tagline is pretty damn funny as well.
The new teaser poster for Rock Of Ages is out as well, and it looks pretty damn good. Again I know it’s a pretty simple image but it’s again effective. Plus I think that Tom Cruise is a great choice for the movie and I think that Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand will be great as well.
Finally, I’m so so so so so excited for Prometheus the new maybe kinda sorta not really prequel to the Alien saga. Ridley Scott is a legend. There, I said it. Legend! This movie, just looks amazing, and this poster is a wonderful teaser for the movie. It adds mystery, suspense, and more… I mean it’s amazing…. So stoked for this one kids!
