What’s up autograph fanatics! Ace here with my recap of meeting Nicolas Cage…

Now, there are some actors who have engrained their persona in Pop Culture…Nicolas Cage has definitely done that…

Comment: He has a meme for fanboy’s sake! Definitely, among the first memes floating around…

With the exception of 1985 and 1991, he has appeared in a film every year since 1980. He won an Academy Award, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild Award for Leaving Las Vegas.

Overall, when I heard about an opportunity to get Mr. Cage’s autograph, I had to go out and try! While he is always promoting films around the world, the last time one of my friend’s got him In Person was in 2002. Therefore, I hear his autograph is more rare than you would think…

Regardless, we showed up around an hour before the movie was supposed to start. Of course, there is always a slight bit of chaos due to the possibility of two entrances.

Within twenty-five minutes, a SUV starts strolling down the alley from the backend. It rolls up to the door… There is a posse of theatre people waiting for him to exit the car. His son jumps out of the car and the driver pulls back and waits… Now, we are either thinking this car is a decoy, or he is waiting until the theatre sees fit to “ensure his safety.”

We wait another twenty minutes before the car begins to move again… We all get in position. Within moments, Cage pops out of the backseat…

The theatre posse greets him… A few of them remark on him not needing to sign… He shakes their hands, ignores their comments, and immediately starts to greet fans.

He was signing anything and everything…

He was in a great mood… There was only fifteen of us, so it was much easier to get something signed… He tried to make sure that everyone got something…
