[FINAL UPDATE] NYCC 2019 Panel Highlights! Emergence! Final Fantasy! New info on Percy Jackson, Hobbits, Steven Universe and the Great Debate!

What’s happening at New York Comic Con this year? With the lottery for Legacy fans, we’re finding out unusually early! And while the official website’s new format is easier to read, the navigation on some browsers is so frustrating you’d think they’re hiding a secret copy of George RR Martin’s The Winds of Winter. Alas, that’s a no. It’s just being difficult.

To make it easier on everyone, here are my highlights of the NYCC 2019 programming schedule with a quick look at who’s coming to NYCC!

SPOILER ALERT: There’s a killer line-up of YA authors and more TV shows than ever before! Also, look for panels with Hollywood legend Rick Baker and Hip Hop legend Busta Rhymes (on different panels). There’s still a few blanks on the schedule so expect more announcements before October rolls around.

New This Year:

  • Legacy NYCC fans (returning attendees and fans who registered prior to this year) will get to enter the lottery for panel seats starting September 16th.
  • There’s so much programming, panels at Javits will go until 10 PM.
  • The Anime Fest panels at Hudson Mercantile require an additional ticket. Click on the Anime Fest links below for more information and to purchase tickets.
  • Half the seats at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden (MSG) and the Hammerstein Ballroom will be available in the lottery.

For more information on the lottery, the different panel room locations, Anime Fest and Library track programming, check out my How to NYCC post. I’ll be regularly posting news on autographs, booth and off-site activities and exclusives so follow along for all the news gathered in one place!

I’ll update this post regularly so bookmark this and my other NYCC posts (how to NYCC, autographs, exclusives and activities) to make the most of your NYCC!
