Not only did Karalee have an amazing experience with the queen of talk but so did Scotty! While, I didn’t have anything for her, they were both super stoked! And I have to tell you being that close to a legend was really impressive

Getting Oprah’s Signature

One of the names I was most excited about when going to the S.A.G, Awards was Oprah Winfrey. One of my favorite movies of all time is “The Color Purple.” My initial thought was that Oprah would not make her way to the fans. Like her character, Sofia, I thought her internal reaction would be, “Hell no!” She is such a big name.
To my surprise, Oprah did make her way to the fans, and signed for a number of people. When she got to our area, Oprah said that the item she was signing would be her last one.
I asked her to please sign mine, as “The Color Purple” is one of my favorite movies. She said, “Oh, okay.” I was so excited!
Thank you Oprah for signing for me and making your fans happy! Oprah is an American icon and a class act!

Umm…that’s definitely a shorter version of the moment!
Oprah’s people were actually about to pull her before she got to me and Scotty. Oprah saw my poster and said to her handlers “one more” and started to sign my poster. (So cool of her!)
Scotty would be the next person after me and he started to freak with a loud shriek that sounded something like “Nooooooooo! Oprah! One more! For The Color Purple!”
Oprah pauses mid-signature on my poster, sees Scotty getting all excited and says “OK, one more,” clearly worried about his health if he continued in that manner.
Really, she was so kind to the fans and took a moment to engage with everyone and sign beautifully as she passed by.
All hail O!
Such a nice signature. So bummed I missed the whole thing.
