Can’t Buy Me Love! Love! Can’t Buy Me Looooooooove!
Sorry, but reading that is better than hearing me sing it. So, see… I saved you that torture! Woo to the hoo!
Today, Patrick Dempsey is out and about promoting Grey’s Anatomy, but I love him from the aforementioned 80’s cult classic and his role in Scream 3. I love the scream movies, and Scream 3 is one of my favorites. I don’t care what anyone says, Scream 3 rocks.
So, I arrive and there are just a group of four girls and a couple paps. Pretty calm. The heat is scorching, I will admit, but thankfully, there’s some shade. Loving the shade.
Lara Spencer, who is also on the show has arrived. No one needed her, but hey… She’s here.
Then a little bit later Patrick Dempsey arrived and bolted inside. He waved but he literally arrived about 10 minutes before the start of the show. Doh!
Everyone then decided to move to the other side, the odd thing is that the security didn’t even set up a barricade! Ugh…
So, we’re waiting. In the scorching sun, and since there’s an Italian Festival in the street behind the event about 100 cars keep rolling through the alley. Ugh… Such a pain in the ass!
It’s not looking good. Only because our small group of five or six has now grown to about 20. Without a barricade these 20 people can turn into slobbering rabies infused dogs looking for a milk bone. Trust me, in the field friends can become enemies faster than you can say, Jennifer-Love-Hewett!
Sorry, had to be done.
I’m scorched from the heat. My brain is frying, Seriously, if I’m here any longer Anthony Hopkins is going to come here, crack my skull and have a meal, with a side of Fava Beans.
And then, Patrick Dempsey comes walking out like a superhero. He comes right on over and is super nice. Seriously. He was awesome.
He talked to the girls and gave them hugs, and signed for everyone. He even signed my Scream 3 poster in gold for me. Very kind. I didn’t get a photo because, well… it was so bright and it would have turned out like ass.
It was fast and quick and everyone behaved themselves! OMG! It’s like a graphing miracle!
Until next time kids…
