The PCC has been counting down to this Memorial Day weekend! Yay! A three-day weekend with dear friends, pool parties and lots of sun. That’s what’s on tap here; hope your plans are just as fun and relaxing. Before you dive into your weekend, read on for some of this week’s Tinseltown tidbits:

Tu-tu much


Kim Kardashian’s baby shower invites have dropped in the mail and they are pretty much what you would expect:

music boxes featuring a dark-haired ballerina who twirls to a lullaby version of baby-daddy Kanye West’s song , “Hey Mama.” Apparently, Papyrus is for poor people. (P.S. The dress code is “garden chic” — I’ll be a lady and refrain from making the obvious joke about a dirty hoe.)

Feel free to keep mum


“Mad Men” actress January Jones is not about to reveal the identity of her son’s father, saying recently, “That’s my son’s business. It’s not the public’s business.”

Fair enough. But for those craving some secret insight into January’s personal life, rest easy —

because here’s what she has to say about eating her own placenta: “It was like taking a vitamin blended into a smoothie.” So, there you have it. No baby-daddy ID, but still lots to, um, chew on.

Even God rested


Morgan Freeman, who turns 76 on June 1, took himself a little nap recently. Which wouldn’t be a big deal except that it happened during a live TV interview, via satellite.

Freeman, alongside Michael Caine, was promoting the new film, “Now You See Me,” when he started nodding off. Can the guy who drove Miss Daisy and survived Shawshank not get a cup of coffee up in here?! Geez. Also, am I the only one stunned to learn Morgan is only 75? I feel like he’s been 75 since, well, ’75.

Bros before brains


Chris Brown and Justin Bieber continue their bromance, recently posting this stellar shot, with the Bieb’s heartfelt caption: “CB what’s up.” Not his probation. Or his pants. Just sayin’.

Honorary Wolf Pack member


Zach Galifianakis attended the L.A. premiere of “Hangover 3” this week with a special lady on his arm: 87-year-old Elizabeth “Mimi” Haist, a woman he helped out of homelessness and has been friends with for nearly 20 years. The two met in 1994 at a Santa Monica laundry mat, where Mimi collected tips for helping people fold their clothes. Two years ago, when Zach learned Mimi had become homeless, he tracked her down and set her up in a one-bedroom apartment, covering the rent and utilities.

This was the third time she’s accompanied Mr. G. to a red-carpet movie premiere. “I dress up nice and a friend helps me with my makeup. It’s fun, not something I’ve ever dreamed I’d experience. The limo takes me home afterwards,” Haist told a New York newspaper.

The collective “awwww” is deafening. Gotta love this.
