Pretty In Pinky! For The Love Of Laugh In’s Lily Tomlin! Autographs! Photos! We’re Talking Big Business People!
Please forgive the pun in the title, lol, but sometimes you just have to pun your heart out!
Can I tell you how much I adore the Pinkster… I mean really she is so fun, and it doesn’t hurt that Ms. Pretty In Pinky has the cutest dog ever! I mean hello! Did you watch the James Gandolfini footage from God Of Carnage? Crazy Times!
For her latest Pretty In Pinky Article the Pinkster herself discusses love… yep, the love of Ms. Lily Tomlin which I for one share. For years I have loved the Laugh In star and Pinky and I actually got to meet her earlier in the year at a small benefit. Such a fun night!
Big Business, The Incredible Shrinking Woman, All Of Me, I Heart Huckabees, the list goes on and on and on…

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy here to discuss the amazing and wonderful Lily Tomlin.
One of the very first movies I can remember watching over and over and over again until the VHS tape ran out (hey, it was the ’80s) was The Incredible Shrinking Woman. Lily Tomlin was perfectly cast as a woman who somehow became itty bitty teeeny tiny and fell down the kitchen sink. I loved watching the sight gags and her hilarious turn as a housewife trying not to disappear.
In addition to the movie, my dad loved to play her comedy album for us and we would listen to it for hours on end. Lily Tomlin could do no wrong in my eyes and I always hoped to one day meet her.
Luckily, I had my chance, as Mikey and I went to meet Ms. Tomlin at a benefit in Santa Monica not too long ago. While I’m not usually one for autographs, I had to bring the comedy album along with me, and Mikey just happened to have the exact same album for her to sign. Although I was super nervous to see her in person, I could not have been more pleased with our encounter. Lily was so sweet and kind to her fans. She came down the stairs and took pictures with each of us and signed all of our stuff. She could not have been any cooler. I didn’t know it was possible, but after meeting her, I’m an even bigger fan.
