I know a lot of people hated Prometheus… I have to tell you though, despite it’s flaws I liked it. There, I said it. I was expecting more, I’ll be honest, Ridley Scott… Alien… BUT I still would rather a movie try and tackle a big subject and fail then strive for the lowest common denominator.
Anyway, it looks like the Prometheus sequel is a go! Damon Lindelof is not returning to write the sequel! YAY! He rewrote so much of the script and whether it’s his fault or not he’s getting the blame for the films flaws.
Writing the follow up is Jack Paglen (“Transcendence”). He’s a relative new screenwriter and there’s been rumors going on for a while he was going to get the gig.
Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender are both expected to return!
