Super Short Sunday! Scotty Grabs The Spotlight After Meeting Real Life Journalist Sacha Pfeiffer And Director Tom McCarthy!
It’s Super Short Sunday time!
Scotty was out on the town and was able to meet some of the cast from Spotlight. The film is a really amazing look at the reporters who cracked the Catholic Church scandal. I have to say, it was very good film and probing insight at what journalists can do and how important they are.
Scotty was able to meet Spotlight director Tom McCarthy, and Sacha Pfeiffer who Rachel McAdams played in the film.

This week I had the chance to finally see the critically acclaimed film, “Spotlight.” I was amazed at the story, and how the Catholic Church hid so much information from public knowledge. Mike invited me to a screening and Q&A of the film. I was able to meet both the director of the film, Tom McCarthy, and one of the actual reporters portrayed in the film. Sacha Pfeiffer, portrayed by Rachel McAdams, was very kind and happy to sign my poster. It was a treat to speak to the actual person whose compelling story was told in the film. Thank you to both Tom and Sacha.
