Super Short Sunday! Scotty Basks In The Moonlight After Meeting Mahershala Ali! Autographs! Photos! Q and A Goodness!

Scotty is a huge fan of House of Cards and Mahershala Ali. This awards season, Mahershala Ali is in two films, Moonlight and Hidden Figures and he’s been on the awards circuit. Scotty headed out to a q and a for Moonlight and was able to meet Mahershala Ali briefly.

Super Short Sundays – Mahershala Ali Edition

I am a huge House of Cards fan. I have been working on getting the cast to sign a couple of pieces. Mahershala Ali plays Remy on the show. He’s currently in the critically acclaimed film Moonlight. He was out this week doing a Q & A for the film. I have heard that he is not very fan friendly, but thought I would try anyway. To my surprise, the moderator for the Q & A was Juliette Lewis. I was bummed because there are items waiting to be signed in my portfolio. Oh well, what can you do? The Q & A was interesting. After the session, they asked us to stay seated until Mahershala and Juliette exited. I waited and then quickly made my way to the lobby. I was able to stop Mahershala and asked him to sign my poster. He said I will sign one autograph. I was the only one asking and only had one item with me. I was shocked by his behavior. Most people cannot tell me who he is or the shows he has stars. I am glad to have gotten him to sign, but a little disappointed in his reaction. Until next time…
