Manic Monday! Pinky Finds Her Fields Of Gold After Meeting Sting! Selfie Goodness!

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan here super excited to have finally gotten my picture with the one and only Sting! While I realize others have also shared their Sting experiences on here, I was super excited to have one of my own.

Last month I attended the opening night of his play, “The Last Ship,” and was fortunate to meet both his wife, Trudie Styler, and Shaggy (who has a recent album with Sting and their voices are magical together!).

Unfortunately, I was not as lucky to meet Sting that night as the guy next to me put out an index card right as Sting walked next to me and I asked him for a pic. Sting was so confused by the index card and having to go inside that the picture didn’t happen. Boo! Flash forward to last week and I just knew I had very few shots left to try and meet Sting. Word on the street was that he wasn’t loving doing selfies, so I hesitated even trying, but I’m so glad I did! One Saturday morning, my friend and I headed downtown and waited for Sting to arrive. There were about ten other collectors there and when Sting’s car drove up, everyone was lined up and respectful. Sting did a few pictures, a few autographs, and then I made my way up to him and asked him if I could get a picture with him. He said, “Of course you can” and leaned in.

Hooray! So happy to have such a better outcome than before! Woot! Plus, who doesn’t love Sting? I’ve been listening to his music for almost 30 years. The man is a legend!
