This week’s “super star” was part of one of the most successful groups of the past 20 years. I was lucky enough to meet Kelly Rowland, of Destiny’s Child, this week. I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Emmy F.Y.C. for the B.E.T. series American Soul. Kelly was on the panel for her guest starring role as Gladys Knight. Following the panel, there was a reception. I was able to have a moment with Kelly. She happily signed my albums and took a photo with me. She saw how excited I was to meet her, and really gave me that moment beyond snapping a photo and moving on to the next person. Thank you, Kelly for being so kind to me. You are a “super star” in my book!
