If I could describe my teenage years in just two words, it’ll be Backstreet Boys! =D

I could just imagine Mike’s face right now lol… YES! Yes they were a HUGE part of my life growing up. My friends and I were totally crazy about them and I remember how I had folders filled with magazine articles and pictures of the boys. I collected everything and anything BSB whenever I came across them. The boys escaped us from reality when it was truly needed. Even after growing up, I still carried that Backstreet pride within me. I had posters of the boys up in my dorm room throughout college and still have them up in my bedroom today. Kevin was my very first crush ever! ^_^

I’ve listened to them since I was 7 or 8 years old and still love every single one of them. Since I was pretty much living in a small island, we did not have the luxury of attending any of their concerts, so any hope of seeing them live was a little farfetched. When Kevin left the group, I was so sad and as much as I love all the boys, the group was not the same. The fever faded a little until I heard the news about Kevin’s return!!!! =D YAY Happy Days!!!!! I was SO EXCITED!!! The internet totally revolutionized the fan experience. The boys have their websites, twitter accounts, instagrams, etc. So many ways to keep their fans up to date and in touch with their latest news.

The Backstreet Boys website announced their upcoming 20th Anniversary and their induction into the Walk of Fame on Hollywood Blvd. I was actually shocked since I really thought they already had a star on the Walk of Fame. Anyway, it’s about damn time!!! Lol…It’s definitely a much deserved and well overdue Star on the Walk of Fame! =)

As the dates got closer, the boys started to talk about a fan celebration in Hollywood. They opened up a chance for all the fan club members to get a guaranteed entry into the event. Of course I entered myself, but did not expect to hear back. Little did I know I got an email the next day inviting me to their Fan Celebration….OMG!!!!! I NEVER get picked or win anything, so this totally shocked me to say the least LOL… =D

I actually have a chance to see my boys live for the very first time. It felt completely unreal. They even gave us a chance to get a VIP upgrade to meet the boys in person and get a group picture with all the boys. I wasn’t too thrilled about taking a group picture with random girls, and I was clearly not the only one displeased with this info.

To better our chances of standing next to our favorite boy, some of the girls started creating groups in advance. I found a group looking for a Kevin girl and I was more than happy to fill that spot! ^_^ The day before the event, we managed to complete our group and we were all extremely excited and nervous. I was such a wreck at work. One of the girls were so AWESOME that she even made shirts for us with our favorite boy on them. She even made these amazing bags for us. Totally DOPE! We were all texting the night before and I had over 150 texts on my phone when I got off work…YIKES! Lol…

After work, I pretty much rushed over to the venue and met up with some of the girls. The line kept growing and the crowd just got more insane by the minute.

Our group was almost complete as we got closer to the starting time.

Since I came right after work, I was in a complete “Zombie Mode” lol…. =D But I knew I had to keep it together. One of the girls from our group flew all the way from Panama just for this event. I mean WOW! O_O

Now that’s dedication! It was so AWESOME meeting all these girls and getting to know them. The boys brought this group together! ^_^ Cheers for making new friends! <3 Its always easier to kill time when you are surrounded with AMAZING Fans.

Even though I attend so many events in Hollywood, I knew this was definitely going to be a unique experience. We saw a couple instagram pics from the boys, so we knew they were already inside. We’ve been in line for so long, we just couldn’t wait another minute!!!

I just wanted to run through security lol… The boys are still filming their documentary, so the film crew kept going up and down the line interviewing fans and covering this once in a life time BSB event! Safe to say that we are all officially a part of Backstreet Boys history! <3

Anyway, after what felt like centuries, security finally checked our IDs and gave our wristbands to the event. The line was moving really slow, but it was moving. Hallelujah!!! =D As soon as we walk in, there was a backdrop and photographers were lined up on the other side taking pictures of us as we walked in. That was a nice surprise. The staff directed us towards to patio upstairs.

Near the entrance, a gigantic banner was hanging from the ceiling and we all got to write down our well wishes for the boys. I busted out my sharpie from my bag and jumped into the crowd! =)

Afterwards we all went up to the patio. It was really cute! ^_^

I think without a doubt, the first thing everyone noticed was that they were playing NSYNC songs in the background. We were all looking at each other like…”Did we just crash the wrong party?” lol…Then we heard Britney Spears, I guess they were taking us back to the good old 90s. Anyway, they had set up life-sized cutouts of each boy on every corner to take pictures with and we got to order special BSB themed drinks lol…

We chilled for a bit, totally abused the photo booth and got our VIP wristbands for the meet and great.  

We all headed downstairs to find a crowd already lined up to get down to the stage. We knew we all wanted to be right up front, so we all got our game faces on. We knew it was going to end up in an insane stampede of girls. Oh dear lord, I just can’t die before I get to see my man!!! Lol… =D

Yes…that was EXACTLY what was going through my head! I think I totally snapped out of my zombie mode and was ready to claim our territory up front. We were all holding hands and made a chain in order to not loose each other. By this time, my phone was beyond dead and I knew if I lost my girls in this crowd, the chances of finding them again would be next to impossible! O_o  As soon as they opened the entrance the girls went ape shit!!!!! Security kept yelling at us not to run, but who are we kidding, we were all after the spots next to the stage. I don’t know how, but we all got downstairs with all our limbs attached. We scored spots right next to the stage!!!!! Booyah!!!! =D

JoJo was hosting the show and the whole crowd started singing BSB songs. It was firkin AWESOME!!!!

All of a sudden, we heard screams from our right hand corner. OMG!!!!! It was AJ!!!!! He popped out of the closed curtains and that woke up every cell in my body. After 5 mins, Bryan popped out and everyone just LOST it…Not going to lie, I had tears of PURE JOY! ^_^ I was just waiting for my Kev to pop out next. After waiting and waiting, we decided to just lift up the curtains ourselves lol…

and OMG!!! There they were…..ALL FIVE OF THEM!!!!! AAAAHHHHH!!!!!!

I couldn’t even recognize the girly shrieks that came out of my mouth!!! I mean….as soon as I saw Kevin, I turned into a teenager SO FAST, I felt I just got sucked into a time warp lol… The boys looked Amazing and my inner child was bouncing all around the place doing cartwheels from one end to the other!

Kevin is such a HOTTIE!!!! ^_^ Anyway, I could write a book about what went on that stage, so I won’t even start. If you are a fan, I say go check out the celebration video online. Their new songs sounded really awesome. I can’t wait to listen to the complete tracks. Totally worth every minute of it and you won’t be disappointed. I LOVE them SOOO much!!!

We got to see them sing, share funny moments and stories. Got to see all their butts lol…Not to mention some pinching and slapping action! 😉 Hahahaaa….Oh how much I Miss them right now!!! Wish I could hang with them every week! Funny man Bry even jumped into the insane sea of BSB crazed girls during the Q&A. Props dude! =D  

After the show, all the boys came up to the fans. I kept yelling for Kevin. I got to touch, adorable Howie and AJ. Kevin was on the other side. He slowly made his way to our side and it happened!!! Yes….I got to firkin touch KEVIN!!!!! AAAHHHHH!!!!

My head just started spinning….maybe it’s the heat and dehydration, but it felt magical!!! Lol… =D He squeezed my hand and I made eye contact with him…..He is such a SEXY HUNK of a MAN!!!!! They were all such Sweethearts and took time saying hi to the fans. I mean, they actually made eye contact with you. Cutie pie Howie couldn’t stop winking at every girl….so adorable!!! ^_^ Love them all!!!!! <3

After having a mini heart attack, we all made our way through the crowd to get in line for the meet and greet. There were a lot of girls in line, so we knew it was going to be pretty quick. We waited in line for another half an hour before security called our group over. The boys were sitting on a couple couches back stage and saying bye to the group ahead of us. Before we climbed up stage, security told us no autographs, no hugs or kisses. I was totally fine with it, I just really wanted that pic with Kevin!!!! =) All the girls were so giddy….we made our way up to the stage and Brian looked so pumped to meet us, he was the first one to say hi. I immediate went behind Kevin and said hi to him! ^_^ The staff was pretty much rushing us for the pic, so we all hurry next to our boys for the group pic. Snap….Snap…Snap…and it’s already time to say bye….

I quickly went around the couch and started talking to Kev. It’s all a blur, but I think I thanked him and told him that I Love him and that he is my first crush ever!!!! Lol…this is a lot because usually I forget English all together when I’m this nervous =D Anyway, the whole time I’m talking to him, he holds and squeezes my hand. I’m soooo trying to keep myself together so I won’t spontaneously combust with Excitement, and I think I did a good job. BUT….then….what happened next just threw me straight out of my feet!!!! *_* Kevin pulls me closer to him and gives me a KISS!!!!! Mind that he is still on the couch and I’m standing….my bones turned to butter and I just went numb, I still don’t know how I didn’t collapse on top of him, not that I would mind, but you know! I have to keep my cool Hahahahaaa…..Oh God! I’m getting goose bumps just talking about it! =D I was definitely in LA LA Land. After straightening myself up, I snapped back to reality and pretty much shook all the boys hands and said hi to them. I think I just floated off stage lol…I know, I’m being really dramatic, but can you seriously blame me??? =D I mean never in my wildest dreams….EVER!!!!

Anyway, it was such a Fabulous night with Amazing friends and fans. We all got to share a very special day with our favorite boys who were unbelievably nice to their fans and total Sweethearts. It was totally beyond my expectation.
