The New York Film Critics have weighed in on this years crop of awards contenders.
As Award’s season heats up, every new accolade helps films that need a boost in profile.
This time around Michael Keaton scored best actor honors and the Cate Blanchett film Carol nabbed best picture.
Kristen Stewart got Best Supporting Actress for Clouds of Sils Maria.
The NYFCC consists of 31 New York based newspapers, Magazines and websites who vote for the honors.
