The Puss In Boots World Movie Premiere! Antonio Banderas! Salma Hayek! Melanie Griffith! Billy Bob Thornton! Zach Galifanakis!

You know there are just some days… Some days, when you can’t get out of bed. LOL… Today is one of those days. Thankfully, we had some folks on the scene! LOL… You see today is the Puss in Boots premiere, and even though I am safely tucked into my bed with my Koala bear blanket keeping me warm, CB, Anushika, and Scotty are all out trying their damned best to get their stuff signed. I probably should have headed out… But… Well… I didn’t! lol..

I’ve always wanted to get Salma Hayek, and I have a few things for Antonio Banderas but you know… I’ll get them another time. But more importantly how did CB and the gang do? Did Salma sign? Was Melanie Griffith there? All these questions and more will be answered after the jump!

NANANANANA, CB, CB, CB! Today is a great day because it is the Puss In Boots premiere is Westwood. I’m very stoked because Desperado and Once Upon a time in Mexico are two of my favorite movies and Salma and Antonio are both going to attend the premiere! Puss in Boots has a great cast that features Antonio, Salma, Zach Galifanakis, Billy Bob Thornton and Guillermo Del Toro. Now, I’ve met Antonio before and he was great, you can catch the write up on the site. I’ve never seen or gotten Salma, so I was praying and hoping she would cross over.  Zach was a really nice guy at the Hangover 2 premiere, I got two and was happy. 

(Editor’s Note: Zach signed like six autographs at the Hangover 2 premiere, and was a douche. That’s all! M-)
Anyways, I had my Puss In Boots poster, photos for Antonio, Salma, Zach, and Guillermo. Mike didn’t want to join me because the premiere started at 10AM, but luckily the Awesome Anushika and Scotty will be coming. Here’s hoping for the best.

7:00 A.M: I arrive and its a full street closure. This set up is the trickiest because not all celebrities are like Johnny Depp and are be willing to cross.  You have to factor in traffic going through and its not the short distance we are accustomed to at Westwood premieres.

7:30: Scotty arrives and we talk about Evita once again……..

9:00. We see the press get set, so that means the event is about to start soon.

9:30: Puss In Boots is walking around..lol

10:00: The first arrival is Bad Santa himself, Mr Billy Bob Thornton. We chant for him, but he goes right inside and does the carpet.

10:10: We see two SUV’s pull up and sure enough, Its Salma Hayek in front and Antonio Banderas in the back. When both the stars arrive it could spell disaster, and sure enough it does. We yell for Antonio and Salma, and both come over.

Antonio comes over first, then Salma comes over 30 seconds later. She goes around him and starts at the second half of the barricade.  I leave my spot and go for Salma.

10:15: Zach arrives and goes straight to the carpet.

10:30: I decide to stick around mainly because I overhead Megan Fox is here.

11:00: We spot Billy Bob Thornton leave and he decides to sign autographs. He’s very nice about it.

12:00: The movie breaks and Zach comes out, he signs autographs while wearing his helmet. Hey, he’s signing a lot.

12:10: Antonio leaves and begins to sign, then Melanie Griffith comes over and signs a few.

12:15: I find out Salma and Megan left through the back…drats…

Overall, it was a great premiere. I got the people I wanted and finally got Salma, so i was pleased. Special thanks to Anushika for taking a majority of the great pictures.  Until next time, same CB hour, same CB channel, same CB blog!!!!
