Theo James and Shailene Woodley Goodness! Susan Meets The Divergent Stars! Autographs! And More!
Divergent took the world by storm earlier this year, so much so that a sequel is already in the works! At San Diego Comic Con, Suddenly Susan and Billy Beer were lucky enough to get wristbands for the signing. I wasn’t so lucky, but what can you do right?
Theo James and Shailene Woodley were at the signing and there to greet the fans.

Oh those crazy Divergent kids. Billy Beer and I were lucky enough to score a wristband to this amazing signing with stars Theo James and Shailene Woodley. But, it didn’t have its share of problems. The area didn’t have enough room to line up those who actually had wristbands so they said we had to just walk around until the line waiting shortened. We literally walked back and forth at a snail’s pace for 30 minutes. Then the signing itself started 40 minutes late.
Because they now had a lot of people to get through in a short amount of time, they rushed us through hardcore. I mean they made us move like nobody’s business.
I got to Shailene, who was sporting a sassy, short hairdo, and she had a super big smile and seemed really friendly. I barely got out the sentence, “can you make it to Susan,” and one of the booth attendees grabbed my arm and said I had to move.
I literally was dragged down to Theo James. Now, this boy is nice to look at – and he knows it. He sat posed, staring straight ahead, signing and not looking down at anyone or the posters he was signing.
I said nothing and he never looked and at me, and I was pushed along, out of the booth. Well, that was a fun 8 seconds.
We walked away with two (no idea why they couldn’t have just signed one poster), matte, card stock 18×24 posters. They are pretty plain too, but as I mentioned, Lionsgate is not known for having the coolest items to sign.
I’m happy to have them though. And, wouldn’t you know, I didn’t even notice until I took these photos last night, that Mr. Theo James, actually made mine out to Susan! I’m baffled that he was able to hear me say that to Shailene, let alone that he would do so after having such a cold demeanor.
Plus, we did make our second singing. Comic Con is nonstop crazy I tell ya!

What a waste of paper. I mean, couldn’t they just print their photos on the posters? Especially the second one.. just thee birds at the top and that’s it?
But wonderful and (looks like) very painful experience. Nice! Thumbs up! 🙂
