I just got back from spending the day at Disney’s California Adventure. I braved the small creatures… Okay, some of you may call them children, but I think small creatures are accurate…
Anyway, one of the first things I wanted to do was head over to The Art of Frankenweenie exhibit.
Well… After a stop with Pluto… I mean seriously how can you go to Disneyland and not get a photo with Pluto!
So, then we headed to The Art of Frankenweenie exhibit. There were props, stop motion puppets, maquettes, and more from the film.
They also had some of Tim Burton’s original sketches and storyboards.
It was a tad shocking to see the detail that went into the film.
If you look at the kitchen table for instance every prop has been carefully crafted. It was crazy!
The exhibit is open until the end of February 2012 so if you are planning a trip to Disney’s California Adventure I highly suggest taking a pop in to check it out! It’s worth the visit!
Check out the photos from The Art of Frankenweenie below!
I saw that exhibit a couple of weeks ago when I went…it makes much more sense now 😛
