Trouble With The Curve Movie Premiere! Meeting Sexyback Singer Justin Timberlake! With Amy Adams! Clint Eastwood! John Goodman! Matthew Lillard! Autographs! Photos! And More!

I have to admit something and it’s a tad painful… I’ve tried to deny it, I’ve tried to push it down, but I can’t any longer… So, here I am guys, coming out and admitting something… I am a fan of Justin Timberlake.

I can’t help it, I’ve tried not to, but alas… And I of course have a stack of crap for Justin Timberlake to sign… Which brings me to my point… It’s The Trouble With The Curve movie premiere! Where Justin is going to arrive of course along with chair talking to Clint Eastwood and Amy Adams.

I also have a stack of stuff for Amy as well because I love her too… I’m hoping for the best! honestly, I’m not expecting Clint Eastwood to sign at all but if I can talk away with a couple Justin Timberlake’s that’s a good day!

4:11 p.m. – I arrived and CB saved Billy Beer and I a couple spots. Sadly, they are pretty far down. But you know… I hate being second row and I think Justin will do the line. Amy Adams is odd at premiere’s she starts at different places and tries to avoid dealers… So.. Who knows..

4:21 p.m. – To be honest there’s not that many people here, I expected a lot more people but hey, it’s cool.

4:35 p.m. – So, Billy and I basically said we need to make a sign. So, we enlisted Scotty who is our expert sign makes. seriously, we need to get him a badge.

4:54 p.m. – It’s starting to get closer to start time… Thank God it’s a nice day.

5:31 p.m. – I brought a couple vintage Rolling Stone magazines for Justin Timberlake and a Friends With Benefits mini poster. For Amy Adams, I have some magazines as well. I did bring a Dirty Harry mini poster in case Clint Eastwood decides to shock me and come over. Oh, and I brought my Scream mini poster with Matthew Lillard as well.

5:45 p.m. – I’m not sure if it starts at 6 or 6:30 I’m hoping it’s six.

5:51 p.m. – There’s a woman with a neon green dress on. Oh, darling… one thing you don’t want to do is glow on the red carpet.

5:59 p.m. – For some reason I have the song “Don’t You Want Me Baby” going through my head. I know random.

6:01 p.m. – Billy printed a few photos from the movie to get signed. He really wants Amy Adams as well.

6:09 p.m. – First arrival! Yay, I love the first arrival!

6:11 p.m. – It’s Roseanne star John Goodman.

Everyone yells for him and I’m shocked but he comes on over!

He doesn’t stay long and signs maybe 20 things before heading back. I would have loved to get John, but alas he didn’t get near me. Doh!

6:18 p.m. – There’s Clint Eastwood! He just arrived.

Everyone is yelling for him and he looks over and it seems like he’s debating about crossing but he turns and heads right on the carpet. Doh!

6:21 p.m. – For a hot second there, I was like wow Clint Eastwood is going to cross! And then, nope…

6:29 p.m. – This premiere is odd. Usually, there are producers and other people arriving and literally there’s no one. It’s like empty between celebrity arrivals. That’s just kind of weird….

6:35 p.m. – Oh, There’s Justin Timberlake! He’s surveying the scene and comes on over.

Justin pretty much starts on one end but he does skip a section at the end.

Justin keeps moving down the line pretty much making sure that he hits everyone in the front.

The crowd just moved the barricade and it started to topple and Justin Timberlake was like, move back… and calm down… Honestly, he’s really nice to the fans at events like this!

he gets towards Billy and I, Billy had him sign I think a photo from the movie and I got him on one o my Rolling Stone magazines and then I pulled out the other one and Justin signed that as well.

He continues down the line and tries to get as many people as possible before heading back.

6:45 p.m. – Amy Adams just arrived. He waves and crosses directly across. She doesn’t see our sign dammit!

She signs a few things but is very picky and probably only gets to people a barricade wide.

We try and yell for her as she crosses in front of us, and she looks over and sees the sign and says, “I gotta go, no one makes Clint wait!” Sigh…

6:50 p.m. – I’m a bit bummed. Oh, another arrival… It’s Matthew Lillard.

He’s crossing over and signing for people.

I pull out my Scream mini poster and Matthew actually sees it and comes right over to it and signs it before heading back to the carpet.

So, over all while I missed a couple people, I got who I came for. I can get Amy Adams again, it just sucks when you miss someone who is signing. LOL… I suppose that’s the completive nature of the hobby. Any day you can get a couple things signed by Justin Timberlake is a good day!
