I’m prepping for a long long night… Today I am heading out to watch True Blood being filmed on location. Now, I went out before to see True Blood being filmed and it turned out pretty good. You just never know though how things turn out… Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you get nothing. It really just depends… sigh…
10:34 p.m. – I just arrived with a couple friends. This location is pretty far away so I’m not sure if there are going to be any other people lurking about. Lol…
10:39 p.m. – holy crap, there are like 30 people here watching the filming… 30 people! Man oh man… One of the security guards even told us if we are huge fans of the show we might not want to watch this scene because of spoilers… He said, “Someone dies!” Duh DUH DUH!
10:45 p.m. – Oh, there’s Alexander Skarsgard, Stephen Moyer and Kristen Bauer. Wow… Oh, and Deborah Ann Woll… and… Wow, Ryan Kwanten!
10:53 p.m. – Security said, we can take as many pictures as we want but no flash… Damn, they are being pretty nice!
11:12 p.m. – We are watching the filming, and I’m not going to give any details of what I saw and who dies… Don’t even ask! Lol… Well, you can ask… I just might not tell you!
11:16 p.m. – Walking right next to us is Annie Fitzgerald who plays new vampire Kirsch. We all asked for a photo and she was like, totally stoked we even asked her. 
Super friendly and we told her how much we are looking forward to the new season. She thanked us and we headed off. So nice!
11:21 p.m. – I wonder if that’s in the book? The person who dies I mean… Hmmmmm we are in a really secluded area, and they have pretty much sectioned off the entire street. It’s like being on a set it’s so strange. Like really being in Louisiana.
11:25 p.m. – We are surveying the grounds, and oh my… there’s Alexander Skarsgard’s… stand in. LOL…
11:26 p.m. – Alex’s stand in is super cool and comes over and chats with us for a bit. For the life of me I can’t remember his name….
11:34 p.m. – He just left and had to go back to set… I think they are relighting something…
11:41 p.m. – Wow, and there’s the man himself, Mr. Alexander Skarsgard! He’s taking a break, and walking right towards us! We ask if he would mind signing something really quick and he was like… “Sure guys! My pleasure!” We each got photos with him and I got him to sign my True Blood season 4 promo poster.
11:46 p.m. – That was so cool! I’ve met Alexander Skarsgard before but it always amazes me how cool he actually is!
12:03 a.m. – One of the security guards just came over to us. He said Anna Paquin is here but asked us not to talk to her because she only has a few minutes. He also said, she told him she would sign later on tonight for everyone.
12:08 a.m. – And there she is. Sookie Stackhouse. But we don’t say anything… I understand, these guys are working, this is their job and I certainly don’t want to bother them when they are busy. It’s always a touchy thing being on set like that.
12:23 a.m. – Stephen Moyer just came by. Again he is on a break. We said hi, and my God how nice… Stephen said, “Hey guys, I’ll come by to sign some stuff in a bit.” Dude, how cool is this guy. I’ve never gotten a photo with Stephen Moyer… Erica, Scotty, Anushika, etc… have… But Mike? Nope!
12:34 a.m. – We are watching the filming take place now… They literally have been shooting this scene over and over and over again… It will never sink in how many times they have to shoot the same scene…
12:43 a.m. – Stephen Moyer is checking the dailies in the monitor and is right across the street from us now…
12:52 a.m. – It’s getting chilly… Thank God I have my jacket! Sigh…
12:58 a.m. – Oh my Lord… Stephen Moyer is coming right on over to us! He’s just signing away! I got him on my True Blood Season 4 promo poster, and then the Details magazine as well. 
He’s chatting with everyone, and does photos and is literally super cool.
1:02 a.m. – I then take out my Rolling Stone magazine and ask him to sign it, and I pulled out Erica’s line here, and ask him if ever gets sick of signing this magazine? And Stephen’s reply… “I never get sick of looking at Alex naked.” Lol… Priceless!
1:05 a.m. – We all thanked Stephen and we went back to looking at the dailies I think… I really don’t remember much… lol… That was too cool….
1:43 a.m. – This street is so strange… I mean the feeling of being here is so odd… lol…
2:01 a.m. – We are heading towards the car, and a few other fans stopped Alexander Skarsgard for photos and autographs, so I went back over to see if he would mind signing another poster for me. It came out awesome and I had him sign it in red paint pen! Rad!
2:11 a.m. – Deborah Ann Woll went back to her trailer, and we said hi to Ryan Kwanten from across the street. The crew asked us not to cross or go up to anyone. There are about 10 or so people left. I’m not the only crazy one! Lol…
2:14 a.m. – Kristen Bauer just went by and she is the nicest person ever! She said she would come over on the way back.
2:16 a.m. – We see Fiona Shaw, who plays the big bad this season, and was also in Harry Potter. Now, I tried to get her before and she wasn’t very nice, today she was pretty cool, and I ask her for a photo and she says, “Well, at least it’s not 5:00 in the morning!” lol…
2:22 a.m. – Oh, and there’s Kristen Bauer coming back. True to her word she comes right on over. She takes photos, and I have her sign her True Blood season 4 promo poster as well. 
2:24 a.m. – There is a stray cat here, that we have been keeping company and Kristen Bauer (who I know is a huge animal lover) bends down to see if she is pregnant. 
She tells us she is going to have her animal rescue friends come down and help the cat out. In all truth, this cat is so friendly.
2:32 a.m. – So far so good… I really would love to get Deborah Ann Woll and Ryan Kwanten I mean, I’ve gotten Anna Paquin and technically I’ve met the full cast, but I would love to get a photo with Jason Stackhouse. That’s what’s cool about going to the set is getting a picture with an actor in character… it’s not just getting a photo with Alexander Skarsgard it’s getting a photo with Eric Northman…
2:43 a.m. – Deborah comes by and just basically heads into her trailer… Ah well…
2:49 a.m. – We see Ryan Kwanten and ask him to sign, but he says he has to go… Bummer… ah well…
3:09 a.m. – And there’s Ms. Anna Paquin… She comes right over as promised. It’s not like a friendly encounter it’s like a, “I’ll sign, but I want to get going.” I get that, I mean I do it’s a long night shoot and she’s tired. It’s nice that she even comes over to sign for us really. I think that was great! I had Anna Paquin sign my True Blood season 4 promo poster and an individual mini poster in the infamous red paint pen!
And that, as we say is that. I will probably need to sleep for two days by the time I get home… Man, I’m getting too old for these late nights! LOL, but you know True Blood is one of my favorite shows and you have to take the opportunity when it presents itself right? Until next time!
