TTM Tues! Stars Coming To Broadway In 2015! Helen Mirren! Elisabeth Moss! Carey Mulligan! Larry David! And More!

It’s TTM Tues!

Ace is taking a sabbatical this week, so yours truly is taking over.

Now, with 2014 coming to a close I thought it would be a great time to look ahead to 2015 and what we can look forward to on Broadway. Listen, it’s never too early to plan and in the TTM game, planning ahead is an important part.

Coming in March of 2015 is Fish in the Dark. It’s a show written and starring Seinfeld’s Larry David. The show itself is about the death of one of Larry David’s friends. It opens March 5th.

The Queen is coming! Ms. Helen Mirren is coming to the great white way after performing in the West End. The Audience thrilled audiences overseas and will come stateside on March 8th.

One of my favorites, Ms. Kristen Chenoweth is bringing her star power back to Broadway in On The Twentieth Century. Kristen Chenoweth is playing a Hollywood star opposite Peter Gallagher in the revival at the Roundabout. This one opens March 12th.

Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss is joining the revival of Wendy Wasserstein’s feminist saga, The Heidi Chronicles. She will be joined by Orange Is the New Black star Jason Biggs. The Heidi Chronicles opens March 19th.

One of the most exciting plays coming, at least for me, is Skylight. It stars The Great Gatsby’s Carey Mulligan and Love Actually’s Bill Nighy. This play also had a West End run this year. It opens on April 2nd.

Frasier and Wet Hot American Summer star David Hyde Pierce is directing his first Broadway play. It Shoulda Been You opens April 14th and will star Cagney and Lacey’s Tyne Daly and Mr. Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka.

One of the more interesting projects is Finding Neverland. Starring Glee’s Matthew Morrison and Frasier’s Kelsey Grammer, Finding Neverland apparently had a rocky development, so get those letters in fast. This opens on April 15th!

Veep star Anna Chlumsky is taking over for Rose Byrne in the revival of You Can’t Take It With You starting in Jan. She will perform opposite The Walton’s Richard Thomas, when the cast switches over.

And Finally, The King and I is set for a revival. Lincoln Center is set for a big production of the classic. It stars Inception’s Ken Watanabe and Kelli O’Hara.
