This author wrote the original novelization of the original Star Wars film – even though the cover says it was written by George Lucas. He went on to write original Star Wars stories and even the other “Star Franchise” bears his name in the opening credits of Star Trek: The Motion Picture as he wrote the original story. He also wrote other Star Trek stories and novelizations for the franchise as well as his own series of original novels – Alan Dean Foster!

In 1994, he agreed to be the spokesperson for the George Foreman Lean Mean Fat-Reducing Grilling Machine – The George Foreman grill. Over 100 million have been sold. Mr. George Foreman!
