Craig Ferguson’s Join or Die with Craig Ferguson is a chat show with celebrities, but instead of promotional interviews, the focus is on bigger discussion topics (probably while the celebrities are still promoting something).

BBC America’s stellar London Spy wraps up this week. While this sounds like it’s James Bond for TV, it’s not. The first episode is a love story between Danny and Alex and when tragedy hits, Danny is left to wonder if he really knew Alex at all. Alex was a genius (and built like a soap opera Greek god) so his secrets suck Danny into the world of international espionage. A slow-burn thriller, there are only 5 episodes and each one is worth watching.

The Wonderful World of Disney is periodically being revived by ABC for Disney nostalgia specials. This week, the show is back for a look at the 60th anniversary of Disneyland. There will be a look at the park, parades and some guest performers like Elton John and BB-8.

A Friends reunion! (Sort of!) 5 of the 6 friends will gather for a tribute to legendary director James Burrows (Matthew Perry is in London). Look for the casts of The Big Bang Theory, Taxi, Cheers, Will & Grace and Frasier to honor the man, the myth, the legend.

Speaking of legendary directors, HBO’s documentary next week is about Mike Nichols, the man behind The Graduate, The Birdcage, Postcards from the Edge, Silkwood and more.

The X-Files finishes off its short season as Fox’s biggest hit of the season. This last episode will be mythology so let’s see where the story ends. With these ratings, Fox would love to bring the show back for another run. Will it happen? The truth is out there…

Meanwhile, Code Black completes its first season without word of renewal. Given its ratings, it’s probably not going to be resuscitated.

Fox had such a fun time with Grease Live! that The Simpsons is also going live. Well, part of an episode with one character will be live. At the end of the May 15th episode, Homer will doing a little live bit with actor Dan Castellaneta in a motion-capture suit as he improvs. This portion will be so live, the East coast and West coast will see different versions of this bit. Doh!
