Walt Disney’s Brave World Movie Premiere! With Kelly Macdonald! Kevin McKidd! Craig Ferguson! Weeds Star Kevin Nealon! Ming-Na and… Molly Ringwald! Autographs! Photos and More!

Man I’ll tell you, Los Angeles traffic is like the Devil’s torment. I mean the fact that work on the West side is literally torture. If I didn’t love my job, I would probably quit and then make a hovercar to get around fanboying.

Anyway, today I’m attempting to get to Hollywood from Santa Monica during rush hour in under 45 minutes. Now, will this happen? Doubtful. Scotty is already in Hollywood and has staked out his spot at the premiere of Walt Disney’s Brave. I am sitting on the 10… Doh!

6:05 p.m. – Well, I decided not to bore you with my traffic bitching be thankful. LOL… I just arrived and I said to God, I said “God… If you want me to make it to the Brave premiere you need to give me decent parking.” And wouldn’t you know it… I found parking! The Lord loves me!

6:08 p.m. – I arrived and it’s about two people deep. I figured that it wouldn’t be that crowded since the list doesn’t have any A list names like Angelina Jolie.

6:09 p.m. – With a little maneuvering of a stationary trashcan I managed to get in second row behind OTG John, Darryl and Scotty. Again, I only have a couple things. I have a Brave mini poster but I really want to get Kelly Macdonald on my Trainspotting mini poster. I already have Danny Boyle, Jonny Lee Miller and Robert Carlyle on it so with Kelly all I would really need is Ewan McGregor.

6:15 p.m. – There are these really annoying bag pipe players who are incredibly loud and are pretty much drowning out all out yelling. Doh. Apparently John Lassiter showed up before I got here. Scotty says, it’s been terrible.

6:19 p.m. – Oh, there’s a drop. It’s Kevin McKidd.

He’s looking our way and running right on over. So nice.

Darryl is in the front and only has stuff for Kelly Macdonald so he grabs my poster and gets it signed for me.

Kevin makes his way down the line and gets pretty much everyone who has something Brave waving in the wind. Really nice!

6:23 p.m. – There’s Weeds star Kevin Nealon! He’s such a nice guy.

Plus, he’s on my favorite show which is now entering it’s final season… ;( Everyone is calling him over and he’s signing away.

People are having him sign Brave stuff even though he’s not in it. lol…

He’s like, I’m not in this and people keep telling him they don’t care!

6:24 p.m. – I can’t even make this up… It’s been Molly Ringwald madness here at MTF and in the flesh she appears. Crazy. Molly is attending the event with her kids and husband.

The funny thing is, the crowd yelled and screamed for Kevin Nealon… And did nothing for Molly.

6:27 p.m. – There’s Allison Janney from The Help, The West Wing and Hairspray. She has on the ugliest pants I have even seen. God bless you Allison, but wow…

6:35 p.m. – Another drop… It’s… Craig Ferguson!

Craig is like, no I can’t sign I have to go in, but then relents and comes on over.

Again Darryl helped get mini poster done as CB freaks out. Craig looks over at him and says, “You’re a needy one aren’t ya!” lol… I really wanted to say, “You have no idea Craig” but I didn’t… lol…

Craig covered our whole section and then a little bit to the right of us as well…

6:41 p.m. – The crowd is pretty think now. I always think it’s funny and I understand it, but tourists just get so excited when they think someone famous is around. I bet half the people don’t know who Kevin McKidd or even Kelly Macdonald are.

I hate it when people turn to me and are like, “Who’s that?” I wanna go, if you don’t know why do you care? But on the flipside, I do understand that they get excited.

6:52 p.m. – Oh.. Oh… There she is! It’s Kelly Macdonald! She’s so adorable and coming on over.

I have my Trainspotting mini poster out and she… Skips it… I’m like no! Trainspotting! Kelly is only signing Brave stuff… It’s killing me. Scotty has his Trainspotting DVD cover and a Harry Potter poster for her as well. Kelly makes her way down and is now coming back to us.

Finally, she broke down and signed Scotty’s Trainspotting DVD and also his Harry Potter poster. Then Kelly signed my Trainspotting mini poster! So stoked!

6:53 p.m. – Kelly Macdonald is about to finish signing autographs and then I get her on my Brave mini poster as well. She is so sweet, but she skips out on all the dealers… Which for once worked out in my favor. lol…

7:01 p.m. – Ming-Na who is the voice of Mulan has just arrived.

She is coming over and signing a few things for people. I wish I have my Mulan DVD! Ah well…

7:09 p.m. – The bag pipe players are lining up and heading out. I suppose that’s it kids! Well… Even though a lot of the cast didn’t show up (they were not on the list so I didn’t expect them to) it was still a fun hour or so and worth the stress of getting here on time. Sigh… Whoo Hoo!

So happy that I was able to get Kelly! Chipping away at that Trainspotting poster man! When you say Trainspotting, is it me or do you have to say it with an accent? LOL…
