Don’t Forget My Number!” Any excuse to quote Milli Vanilli is a good thing and if you don’t agree with me… Well, just go with it! lol… Today, is the premiere for What’s Your Number? The new Anna Farris and Chris Evans film. Now, you get the Milli Vanilli reference right… RIGHT! Or maybe not… Maybe I’m the crazy one… El Mike The Fanboy Loco…

I do love Ms. Anna Farris, but I admit I’m really out for Captain America, I mean Chris Evans. I wasn’t able to go to the Captain America premiere and so… Well, I have a crapload of Captain America stuff… Thank you Comic Con! And, since Ms. Anna Farris is here as well, I have a couple things for her… You know, you can never really have enough stuff right? 😉

3:43 p.m. – I’m looking for parking and since this premiere is in Westwood I’m driving through the college campus for UCLA.

3:48 p.m. – I’m looking for parking and suddenly I’m on a street where a bunch of shirtless frat boys are playing football and girls are in lawn chairs sunning themselves… It’s like I’m driving through an Abercrombie and Fitch catalog.

4:04 p.m. – Finally I found parking… and now I’m hiking it over to the premiere. Scotty is heading over and CB is holding me a spot on the rail. CB is hoping Ellie Kemper shows up…

4:08 p.m. – I’m kidding, he only wishes Ellie Kemper would show up.

4:16 p.m. – After a brief stop to linger at the Abercrombie Catalog kids (hey it was on my way to the premiere!) I finally arrived at the premiere. I was greeted with Scotty saying, “What the hell took you so long!” LOL… Good times!

4:23 p.m. – Anyway, the carpet is pretty simple, I know this is a smaller premiere but I figure it would be a good time to get Chris before all the Avenger’s madness begins.

4:34 p.m. – CB is whipping out the oldest, Sharpie’s known to man… They can’t even be called Sharpie’s anymore… They are Sharpie nubbins..

4:45 p.m. – He wants to keep them as memento’s… I grabbed his blue Sharpie nubbin and tossed it into the street. I just know, he’s going to pull it out and then Anna Farris is going to sign something in it, and it’s going to suck… Sigh…

4:51 p.m. – You can buy a pack of Sharpie’s for like 2 bucks… Hello!

5:09 p.m. – I think I might have to get a cookie… Sigh… I am on a diet…

5:16 p.m. – There’s not a huge amount of people here yet… But the front barricade is still pretty full.

5:23 p.m. – Okay, so the guys putting up the carpet must have ran out of movie posters for the carpet and they are putting up smaller mini posters… Sigh… Really guys, you couldn’t get a couple more one sheets? lol…

5:46 p.m. – Scotty has his Captain America poster but he really wants Dave Annable because Scotty’s a huge fan of Brothers and sisters…

6:04 p.m. – It’s getting super chill… Brrrrrrrr… Thank God I have a sweater…

6:08 p.m. – Now, there is a group of caroling minstrels singing to us… God, really? I never thought I would appreciate the musical stylings of Matchbox 20, but now… I think I do…

6:11 p.m. – I didn’t see a press release but I would assume both Anna and Chris would show up to this… Oh, I hope that’s right, lol…

6:36 p.m. – Okay finally some people have arrived and the premiere has started…

6:39 p.m. – Oh, there is this woman on the carpet with a zebra print dress and bright blue shoes.. really? I mean why didn’t you just wear sleeveless flannel and cut off shorts?

6:42 p.m. – A couple randoms are here, and one of the worst dealers in the world just arrived… ugh… Where is that screwdriver to drill into my brain…

6:46 p.m. – Oh, here’s the… Oh crap it’s Anna Farris!

Everyone goes crazy and yells for her… She is so sweet, she comes right over and starts to sign at the end. All at once all the dealers charge, it’s like a herd of cattle charging down the field…

6:48 p.m. – It’s only a short distance but feels like forever…

They are trying to keep the dealers for getting multiples… Anna Farris is so sweet though… She is signing up a storm and she has such a nice signature!

6:49 p.m. – Anna gets to us and Scotty gets her to sign his Just Friends DVD… I have a rare Lost In Translation picture disc that was issued as a promo and a House Bunny DVD… She is more than happy to sign both for me.

And we even had a second to talk. I actually explained what the record was… lol… that was really cool.

6:52 p.m. – Anna is signing and signing all down the line… Good for her!

6:54 p.m. – Okay, that was a good start… Wait, there’s Dave Annable! Scotty goes crazy.

He whips out his photo and Dave comes right on over to him and signs his photo and then does a photo with Scotty… Then Dave Annable starts to sign down the line… I don’t have anything for him, so I just take Scotty’s photo for him…

6:55 p.m. – Dave doesn’t sign that much, but still manages to get a bunch of people…

7:05 p.m. – Well, that was a little bit of a lull, oh wait… There’s Zachary Quinto who of course was Spock in Star Trek.

He comes over but skips around a lot. I help another collector friend get a Star Trek DVD signed as I don’t have anything for him.

I should have brought my Star Trek poster, but since I have two Star trek posters I don’t really want to start a third. lol…

7:06 p.m. – Zachary really doesn’t sign a lot and is a little… well… cold I guess is the word… Still he does it, but wouldn’t sign Scotty’s phaser toy…

7:11 p.m. – Okay, there’s Ed Begley Jr. lol… He lives down the street from me… Still I loved him in Veronica Mars… Oh wait Blythe Danner is with him. Scotty whips out an index card, and I’m kicking myself for not having my Meet The Parents poster! Damn!

7:12 p.m. – Blythe Danner and Ed both come over to sign… Blythe is so sweet, just like one would expect! She signs for Scotty and then moves down the line…

She is about to sign for CB on his mini poster for the movie… However, CB screams at screen legend… NO! Blythe Danner is taken aback and apologizes, and then CB asks her… Are you in the movie, and Blythe says, “Oh, I am in the movie.” CB then says, “Oh, okay…” Sigh…

7:15 p.m. – There’s A Cinderella Story: Once Upon A Song star Megan Park signing at the other end of the line… I don’t think she’s actually in the movie… lol…

7:17 p.m. – Okay, still no Chris Evans…

7:25 p.m. – Wow, this is a long time between arrivals… There is a strange stillness in the air… I mean like… Even the press are quiet…

7:33 p.m. – Scotty and I are taking bets on whether or not Chris Evans is even going to show up…

7:45 p.m. – Okay, wait there’s a car… Yep, it’s Chris! He gets out of the car, and the crowd goes crazy… I’m hoping he still comes over… sigh… His person talks to him for a second, and then he comes on over to the crowd…

7:46 p.m. – Chaos… I mean people lose all sense… Pushing, shoving… People throw crap over the barricade, they try to cover people… It’s insane…

Chris is moving super fast, he only signs Chris but who knows if we will even get that here… He’s almost at us now… Scotty holds up his poster and I have my Comic Con promo poster…

Chris is almost at us now… I brace myself and then we get thrown into the rail… Chris almost skips my poster, and I’m like, “Chris can you please get the Comic Con promo poster?” He does! Thank God!

7:47 p.m. – Chris signs for a few steps farther down the line and then heads back… As he is walking back I see a fight between one of the more let’s just say undesirable dealers who are out. Apparently, he hit a woman or something, and she was calling him out on it. I assume it was an accident as I don’t think he would actually do it on purpose, but God these people need to calm the hell down…

Overall, it was a good night, I got one Chris Evans which in that madness was good. But if people would calm down, I think everyone would have a better time at these things… I’m just saying…
