Alex Pettyfer, Diana Agron and Teresa Palmer @ The Hot Topic I Am Number 4 Signing!

I avoid wrist banded signings usually… well, I don’t know if that’s true or not… I guess it depends on the title, what the signing is for, etc… Just ignore everything that I type/say. LOL… Anyway, I’m headed out to the Hot Topic today for a signing and movie screening of the new film I am Number 4. I’ve been wanting to see this movie for a while plus if you bought a T-shirt (that inexplicably has a giant photo of Alex Pettyfer on the front), you get a poster that will be signed by Pettyfer and Diana Agron. After the signing you get to see the film a week before the movie opens… Not too bad a deal… So Erica and I are headed out with our shirts emblazoned with Alex Pettyfer’s face on them.

12:21 p.m. – The signing starts at 2:00 p.m. so we’re going to get in line after running around a bit. I so wish the T-Shirts were not so awful. Lol… I mean Alex Pettyfer seems like a good guy, he’s good looking and all, I just don’t see myself wearing a shirt with his face and torso on it. Lol…

12:34 p.m. – We just got in line. We are about 150 people back. We heard that they gave out 500 wristbands. Ugh… Diana Agron plays Quinn on Glee… and I really like her on the show.

12:45 p.m. – Erica and I packed a lunch… lol… I’ve been sick and feel like I can burst out into a sweaty beast at any second… blech… I know attractive right? Sigh…

12:52 p.m. – Why do people keep saying that the world will end on May 21st? I’m confused actually. I mean why May 21st? Again, thank God I’m seeing Kylie Minogue on May 20th, which coincidently is my grandma’s birthday, but that’s beside the point. Like really can anyone answer this for me? Sigh there’s even a billboard!

12:56 p.m. – I’m going to start a poll why will the world end on May 21st? It’s in the bible… uh huh… it also says, “I will come like a thief in the night and you will never know the day” Okay that’s paraphrasing… lol… but still…

1:05 p.m. – Erica just went to the restroom, and some guy grabbed her going down the stairs! What the hell is this craziness!

1:22 p.m. – The line is really starting to grow now… Damn… That’s a lot of people! Lol…

1:43 p.m. – The line is full of young girls… lol… I know shocking right. Alex Pettyfer is the new sexy it boy so I shouldn’t be shocked. I just hope I am Number 4 is better than Twilight. And as Erica keeps pointing out Catherine Hardwicke the director of Twilight also directed Red Riding hood with Amanda Seyfried… sigh… Still I’m holding out hope cause I really liked thirteen…

1:55 p.m. – We are in the shade and I’m happy to report that my sweating is down to a minimum… Ugh… I would rather just be like “I can’t get out of bed sick” for a couple days than be moderately sick for weeks on end… sigh…

2:04 p.m. – Oh we are moving! Up the stairs… Near the giant ficus! God bless the ficus!

2:09 p.m. – Erica thinks I’m delusional… lol…

2:23 p.m. – Wow, we’re moving again. They really must be whipping through the line!

2:31 p.m. – Okay, we’re heading up again! Lol… Erica brought her Glee poster just in case she can sneak it in for Diana Agron… I brought my Glee Rolling Stone but neither of us thinks we can get it signed… Usually at signings like this they are pretty strict.

2:43 p.m. – We are at the overpass now. What a beautiful view of the Hollywood sign! Wow, it makes the line and waiting not that bad. Sigh… Good times…

2:45 p.m. – There are a lot of people at the Hollywood and Highland today. I think it’s a giant cement monstrosity but God bless it all the same. It has helped clean up Hollywood… lol…

3:02 p.m. – We are getting very close. We can actually see the Hot Topic now. They have one super cute girl working there. She is so peppy! I sweat I would like to bottle her energy!

3:13 p.m. – Okay, We are now in the Hot Topic, and we just realized Teresa Palmer is here as well. So we got all three leads! What a nice bonus. Teresa Palmer is also going to be in Take Me Home Tonight the 80’s flick that looks awesome!

3:16 p.m. – Erica and I were just given our posters. They are huge! Dammit! Erica’s up first and goes behind a giant black wall… lol…

3:17 p.m. – Okay here I go… I walk right around the wall and I’m a little shocked cause Diana Agron is right there! She holds out her hand and says, “Hi, I’m Diana!” I was like “Hi, I’m Mike!” Lol… I told Diana how much I love her in Glee, and she said she didn’t see the Valentine’s Day episode yet.

3:18 p.m. – Diana was so cute! Then Teresa Palmer was really sweet as well. I mentioned to her how glad I was that she was here, cause she wasn’t listed.

3:19 p.m. – Alex Pettyfer really didn’t look up too much or do much talking. He was seemingly cool though, but didn’t really interact like the two girls.

3:20 p.m. – And that was it. Time for salsa at the Baja Fresh! MMMMMMMMMM salsa….

4:30 p.m. – We are just sitting down for the screening. A very large woman took off her shirt and revealed to everyone she didn’t have a bra on… hmmmmm I didn’t need to see that.
4:31 p.m. – All three cast members are here to introduce the movie, once they leave it starts… Cross you fingers…

6:24 p.m. – Wow, I really liked the movie. I thought all three leads were really good, but Teresa Palmer really was great. She didn’t have a huge part but really nailed it. Diana Agron was really cute as well. I thought Alex Pettyfer held the movie together. In short, it was a sold, fun movie. I liked it way way better than I thought I would! Whoo Hoo! A fun day, even with the groping, sweat and misc nudity!
