Manic Monday! Pinky Meets Best Friends Forever Stars Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham! Selfie Goodness!

Hello, my lovelies. Pinky Lovejoy-Coogan here still smiling after a successful foray into Hollywood the other night while trying to finally get a picture with Jessica St. Clair (one of my faves) who was doing a Q&A at UCB (Upright Citizens Brigade) with the equally hysterical (and Jessica’s BFF and frequent co-creator), Lennon Parham. I’d been lucky to meet Lennon about ten years ago, but had never even seen Jessica before. Last year I tried to meet her after a show and missed her by a few minutes. I was devastated! Thankfully, I saw an ad for their Q&A on Instagram and was able to nab a ticket for the intimate affair.

Now, for those of you who may not know, Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham are the geniuses behind the TV shows “Best Friends Forever” and “Playing House.”

I loved those shows and are so sad they’re no longer on the air. However, both Jessica and Lennon can still be viewed frequently on TV, as they’re often guest stars on my favorite shows and now have even more permanent gigs: Jessica is on the new HBO show “Avenue 5” and Lennon is on “Bless This Mess.”

On Saturday night, I made my way over to UCB not knowing what to expect. Their Q&A was in was a new space to me (it was an adjoining room to their café) and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Would they mingle after the show? Would pics be available? Happily, I didn’t have to wonder long, as Jessica walked in about five minutes after I did and I was able to nab a quick picture with her then and there. Hooray!

All my stress was alleviated and I could enjoy the Q&A without having to stress over pictures. Once the event ended, I decided to walk up and see if they’d be doing any pics together (as the only thing better than a selfie with someone you love is getting two people you love together in one shot). As luck would have it, they were more than happy to pose! We took a few with my iPhone, but the lighting was really weird, so I’m so glad I took a real camera with me for another shot. It turned out great!

And can I just tell you? Both ladies were ridiculously nice! Like, I may have two new BFFS now (I wish!). Jessica even tweeted back to me after I posted our picture together. So sweet! Love when nights turn out so well.
