Book Review: Casino Conquest: Beat the Casinos at Their Own Games! (by Frank Scoblete)

It’s the holiday season and it always strikes me as strange the memories that continue to pop up. Those times when you should be creating “lifetime’s of memories” sometimes fall flat and the other times when things take you for a curve that really stick out in your mind.

I’ve been super sick the past couple weeks and when the opportunity to review the book, Casino Conquest: Beat the Casinos at Their Own Games! (by Frank Scoblete) came up, initially I was like… No. I don’t have time, but it really made me remember the Christmas my family spent in Vegas after my Dad died.

It was a unique experience to say the least, my sister wasn’t old enough to gamble and kept getting kicked out, there was a certain Moulin Rouge! memory and lots and lots of food. Yeah… there was a lot of good food.

But one thing I remember was that I had no idea what I was doing when it came to playing the slots. I might have sat down with my grandmother who was drinking a Southern Comfort Manhattan and lost a lot playing slots, so in anticipation of a couple Vegas trips next year, I took a gander at Casino Conquest.

About the book

Casino Conquest is the book that shows you how to beat several of the most popular casinos games such as blackjack and craps. It explains how to lower the hit on your bankroll when playing games where the player can’t get the edge such as non-advantage-play slots, baccarat and roulette. In addition, Scoblete lays out many of the games that should be avoided and explains exactly why this is so.

It’s really important to know what you’re doing when it comes to money and finances and gambling is no exception. You can also check out how to play slots, which I think is an important lesson.

Casino players know what a great writer Scoblete is and this book is no exception. He intersperses great personal experiences with his on-target strategies.

If you want to learn about many of the games, which ones you can beat and how, then Casino Conquest is the book for you!

Overall, I suggest checking out Casino Conquest if you’re heading out to a casino or trying your luck. It’s a worthy read and will help you on your gambling adventures.
