Box Office Breakdown! Avengers Still Number One But Trailing The First Film! Hot Pursuit Flops! And More!
Avengers Age of Ultron does it again! The Super Heroes racked up another $77.2 million in ticket sales for a global total of $875 million.
Far, far behind was Hot Pursuit, which was rather cold, opening with $ million.
The Age of Adaline stayed fresh at number three with $5.6 million.
Furious 7 grabbed another $5.2 million for their massive domestic total of $338.4 million.
Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 was given a citation at number five with $5.1 million for a strong domestic total of $58 million.
Ex Machina continued to make itself known, climbing up a spot to number six with $3.4 million.
Home was lost at number seven with an even $3 million.
Woman in Gold continued to tarnish at number eight with $1.6 million.
Cinderella still had a little magic at number nine with $1.5 million and a domestic total of $196.1 million.
Rounding out the top ten was Unfriended with $1.4 million and a domestic total of $30.9 million. Not too shabby considering their tiny budget of just $1 million.

Next week the men from Avengers have some stiff competition. Mad Max Fury Road and those wacky pitches from Pitch Perfect 2 are opening. It’s going to be close, but I’ll put my money on Mad Max for the win. Tune in to see if I’m right.
