Box Office Breakdown! Furious 7 Retains Top Spot! Paul Blart Scores At Number 2? Say Wha?
Color me shocked. Furious 7 pulled in for its third win at number one this weekend. The franchise grabbed another $29 million towards its domestic total of $294.4 million.
Equally as surprising was Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 taking second place with $24 million.
Unfriended was in need of one, opening at number three with $16 million.
Home was stranded at number four with $10.3 million and a domestic total of $142.6 million. However, its bloated budget of $135 million makes for a small profit margin.
The Longest Ride took a long fall to number five with $6.8 million.
Get Hard stayed soft at number six with $4.8 million.
Monkey Kingdom barely went bananas, opening at number seven with $4.7 million.
Woman in Gold slipped to number eight with $4.5 million. That’s’ what you get for putting Ryan Reynolds in a drama with Helen Mirren.
Insurgent took the number nine spot with $4.1 million and a domestic total of $120.6 million. That’s a far cry from its predecessor’s $151 million domestic total.
Rounding out the top ten was Cinderella with $3.8 million for her magical domestic run of $186.3 million.

Next week doesn’t bring much competition for Furious 7, but I’ll bet on The Age of Adaline to take the top spot. Tune in to see if I’m right.
Until then, happy movie going!

I don’t think Furious 7 is good. It just looks like salacious crap.
