Box Office Breakdown! Home Hits Number One! Get Hard Solid Number Two! Insurgent Drops!

Looks like Will Ferrell and I are both losers. Home came from outer space and nowhere to snatch up the top spot with a $54 million opening.

Get Hard was still tough at number two with a $34.6 million opening. Not bad at all for an R rated comedy in March.

Insurgent is falling steadily, coming in at number three with $22 million and a domestic total of $86.3 million so far.

Cinderella was still full of magic at number four with $17.5 million for a three week domestic total of $150 million.

After three weeks in release, the indie horror flick It Follows climbed up from number 19 to number five thanks to great word of mouth and a huge increase in the number of theatre screens.

Kingsmen the Secret Service is still going strong after 7 weeks in release, coming in at number six with another $3 million.

Run All Night stumbled further to number seven with $2.2 million.

The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel took the number eight spot with $2.18 million.

Do You Believe, which I still have never heard of, slipped to number nine in its second week of release with $2.15 million.

Rounding out the top ten was The Gunman with $2 million and a dismal domestic gross of $8.8 million in two weeks.
