Box Office Breakdown! The Meg Takes A Bite Out Of Number One! Mission Impossible Didn’t Fallout! And More!

The Meg chomped the competition, opening at number one with $44.5 million.

Mission Impossible Fallout took a hit at number two with $20 million.

Disney’s Christopher Robin was nostalgic at number three with $12.4 million.

 

Slender Man was unnerving, opening at number four with $11.3 million.

 

BlacKkKlansman was under cover, opening at number five with $10.7 million.

 

The Spy Who Dumped Me was less intriguing, falling to number six with $6.6 million.

 

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again was still singing at number seven with $5.8 million.

 

The Equalizer 2 was uneven at number eight with $5.5 million.

 

Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation took a break at number nine with $5.1 million.

 

Rounding out the top ten was Ant-Man and the Wasp with $4 million.
