Black Panther roared at number two with $16.6 million.
I Can Only Imagine was dreamy at number three with $13.8 million.
Sherlock Gnomes was on the case, opening at number four with $10.6 million.
Tomb Raider was banished to number five with $10.4 million.
A Wrinkle in Time was outdated at number six with $8 million.
Love, Simon was rejected at number seven with $7.8 million.
Paul, Apostle of Christ was anointed, opening at number eight with $5 million.
Game Night was boxed up at number nine with $4.16 million.
Rounding out the top ten was Midnight Sun with $4.11 million.
