Box Office Breakdown! Smile Continues It’s “Grinn-ing Streak!” Lyle, Lyle Crocodile Was Sharp! and More!
Smile definitely has reason to do so, holding the number one spot for a second week with $17.6 million. Lyle, Lyle Crocodile had a sharp opening at number two with $11.5 million. Amsterdam, Avatar the Re-release, and Barbarian all continued to struggle. Bros needed some love at number eight, while the indie horror flick Terrifier 2 opened at number nine. Top Gun: Maverick rounded out the top ten with a jet fueled domestic theatrical run of $715 million.
Until next time, happy movie going and be nice to each other!
