Box Office Breakdown! Tomorrowland Creaks To Number One! Mad Max And Pitch Perfect Hold Well!

Take that Pitches! Tomorrowland was indeed number one this holiday weekend, albeit with a less than impressive $41.7 million.

The European premiere of Disney's “Tomorrowland: A World Beyond”

Pitch Perfect 2 was in second place with $38.5 million and a two week domestic total of $126 million.

Mad Max Fury Road came in at number three with a strong $32.1 million and a total domestic total of $95.5 million.

Avengers Age of Ultron fell to number four with $27.8 million and a domestic total of $410.98 million.

Not many people said they’re here in theaters as Poltergeist opened at number five with $26.5 million.

Hot Pursuit pulled into number six with $4.58 million.

Far from the Madding Crowd stepped into number seven with $2.95 million.

Furious 7 sped into number eight with $2.79 million and a handsome domestic total of $347.7 million.

Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 snuck into number nine with $2.53 million.

Rounding out the top ten was Home with $2.4 million.
