Cancellations! ABC Says Goodbye To Forever! Resurrection! And Cristela! Doh!

Along with the renewals there comes the cancellations. ABC has lowered the axe on a few shows. Doh!

First on the chopping block, Cristela the freshman comedy and from what I’m hearing from fans… “It’s just mean.” The series follows a young Mexican-American girl working to become an attorney.

Next, the Ioan Gruffod series Forever… Just wasn’t. The series has been given it’s walking papers.

And finally Resurrection, the zombie drama will not be returning.

Ioan Gruffudd’s response on Instagram was super sweet and poignant. His wife broke the news first on Twitter as he was too shaken to reply. ABC renews Galavant which costs more to make and had lower ratings. I don’t get it. Forever would have done well in a new time slot as it had a solid fan base, just not in that 18-24 demo.
