Rialto Pictures celebrates the 50th anniversary of the groundbreaking independent studio Carolco Pictures, bringing their blockbuster catalog back to the big screen on glorious 35mm and 70mm prints. The series begins on Friday, May 29th in Los Angeles at the Vista Theater. Films playing in the series include Paul Verhoeven’s classic erotic thriller Basic Instinct, James Cameron’s action masterpiece Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Ted Kotcheff’s genre-defining First Blood, Quentin Tarantino’s explosive debut Reservoir Dogs(distributed internationally by Carolco) and many more…

The series will also feature a lineup of cult classics that will play at the theater’s Video Archive Cinema Club.
