There are those days when you don’t want to leave the house, but you do.
Channing Tatum along with Elisabeth Moss were doing a talk show appearance here in Los Angeles and while I hate… and by hate I mean despise to the marrow of my being, this venue… Here I am.
So, I have this tuxedo from 21 Jumpstreet that was Channing Tatum’s outfit from the movie. I’ve tried to get it signed for years and I figure… Why not try again right?
I also had this Magic Mike poster I’ve had for years as well. I don’t have anything for Elisabeth Moss but she’s nice, so I didn’t pay it much mind.
Now, I got there and everyone was in. I was about 50-60 people back in line. It was hot, annoying and apparently someone in the line ran after Channing Tatum when he got there.
This is why I hate this venue… Standing it line… Is it so hard? Scotty was supposed to come with me, but he ran off to Vegas for The Killers so I’m here all by myself. Sounds like a 1970s soft rock ballad.
Time was moving at the speed of a turtle eating peanut butter trapped in tar but it slowly ticked away.
Elisabeth Moss came out and signed for about 20 people and then apologized and had to go.
I give her a pass. She’s hyper cool.
Then another hour, another half hour… It felt like forever.
Finally Channing Tatum came out. He was really nice.
He went to the very end of the line and made sure to sign and take photos with everyone. It was really nice, I have to say.
Channing Tatum signed my Magic Mike poster and my 21 Jumpstreet Tuxedo as well.
It looks pretty sick.
Even though it was a long wait, it was worth it.
Until next time kids…
