Coach Is Coming Back! The 1990’s Series Is Returning To Television With Craig T. Nelson!

Coach, the 1990’s series starring Craig T. Nelson is coming back to the airwaves!

The original series ran for nine seasons on ABC and also starred Jerry Van Dyke and Shelly fabares.

The new version of Coach will be back for a straight to series order of 13 episodes and wil be airing on NBC. According to Deadline, the new version of Coach will take place 18 years after the original series ended. It will involve Coach Hayden Fox coming back to coaching to help his son who is now an Ivy League coach in Pennsylvania.

Craig T. Nelson won an Emmy for his role on the original series, and apparently there was a bidding war for the new version of Coach.

No word yet on if any of the other original series cast members are going to make an appearance.

Coach joins X-Files and Boy Meets World as shows from the 1990’s making a comeback.
