Conan The Barbarian World Movie Premiere! Jason Momoa! Lisa Bonet! Rose Mcgowan! Ron Perlman! Rachel Nichols!

Gosh, it has been a slow slow couple weeks here in La La Land; there just hasn’t been a lot of events I’m stoked for… Thankfully, there are others out there who have other interests! CB for one is a huge fan of Conan the Barbarian… Now, I already went to the autograph signing at the Lionsgate booth at Comic Con this year, and I have to say, I’m not too jazzed for this movie… I dunno… It just isn’t cutting it for me… BUT I know CB is excited, so I say, enjoy!

Hey everyone, today I am writing about the Conan the Barbarian premiere. This movie is one of the big summer blockbusters everyone has been waiting for. For those unfamiliar with Conan the Barbarian, it helped launched Arnold Schwarzenegger’s career, and the same is expected for the new Conan, Jason Momoa. The cast is great, it includes Ron Perlman (SAMCRO BABY!), Rachel Nichols from G.I. Joe (just heard Mike sigh), Rose McGowan, and Stephen Lang. I was not going to go to this premiere because it got cancelled, then rescheduled, then cancelled again. Luckily, Mike found me a mini poster, so I’m off! (Thanks Dorkus!)

6:00: I arrive and we are all across the street. Security hasn’t set up a barricade.

6:30: Security starts picking people to go to the fan pit section. One by one security lets us go to the fan pit. This fan section is right next to the carpet and right in front of the cars. Looks promising.

7:00: First arrival and its Bob Sapp. He’s really tall and such a nice guy. He comes over and signs. He’s a retired fighter, so no one messes with him….ha

7:05: Next arrival and its Rose Mcgowan. She looks stunning and comes over to us. She signs a few, then says, “I’ll be right back…”

7:07: Next arrival is Marcus Nispel, the director of the film. We chant for him and he comes over.

7:09: Rachel Nichols aka SCARLETT has arrived. She looks amazing as well and comes over and greets everyone. Super super nice girl.

7:13: Leo Howard, who plays young Conan, has arrived and signs for everyone.

7:17: Ron Perlman arrives next, and we chant for him, but he goes right to the carpet.

7:19: Guess Ron had a change of heart because he comes right over and signs for almost everyone.

7:21: Rose McGowan is awesome and comes back to sign more autographs.

7:25: Last arrival and its CONAN himself, Jason. We roar for him and he comes straight over. Who comes over too you might ask, well Lisa Bonet comes over too to greet the crowd.

He signs and signs, does the carpet, escapes that and signs more. I think he jumped the barricade over at the press area to come back to us. He ROCKS!

Overall, it was nice and easy. Since the total crowd was no more than 30 people, it made things a lot easier. Until next time, take care everyone.
