An American Werewolf in London
One of the greatest horror films of all time is headed to COMET! Check out John Landis’ often imitated but never duplicated 1981 classic, An American Werewolf in London, and discover why it’s always a good idea to “stay off the moors.” The film airs on COMET on August 18 at 8P/7C, and again the following night at the same time.
Friday, August 18 at 8P/7C
Saturday, August 19 at 8P/7C
and Sunday, August 27 at 4P/3C
Invasion of the Body Snatchers
Most of the time, we’re not big fans of remakes. But once in a while, a remake comes along that vastly outshines its inspiration. Invasion of the Body Snatchers, the 1978 reboot of the 1956 sci-fi thriller, is one of those remakes. Not only that, it’s maybe the best remake ever made, and with stars like Donald Sutherland, Jeff Goldblum, and Leonard Nimoy, it’s not hard to see why. The invasion begins on August 25 at 8P/7C, with an encore airing at 8P/7C on August 26.
Friday, August 25 at 8P/7C
Saturday, August 26 at 8P/7C
and Wednesday, August 29 at 5:30P/4:30C

Ideally, I will attend an eclipse party at a local community center
Ideally, I would love to go to one of the eclipse parties around town but I’ll either be at home Oi at work at that time. But will still enjoy it and watch everyone’s reaction on social media or tv.
If I could, I’d be where you can witness the total eclipse and parting out.
I would love to watch this, and I’m home to do it too! So now that my granddaughter has moved out going to invite her over for some lunch and we’ll watch it together!!! We’re definitely buds, but I will read up on it to make sure we have the right protection!!!
Love this… wish me luck!!!! hahahaha
Where I live I’ll only see a partial eclipse, so this would help me feel better!
We will see only see a partial eclipse, so I’m staying home and watching on my computer or TV.
My kids and i are going to try and see the eclipse. It’s supposed to be cloudy
It would be fun to have an eclipse watching party at home – watching on TV – with moon themed foods like Moon Pies, moon like meatballs, and moon shaped cheese balls.
We were able to watch it from home.
In a perfect world I would have liked to travel to a region in the wilderness where we could see it at 100%. Maybe on top of a mountain or something.
Staying home for the eclipse!
I believe I got drunk that day 😉
Ideally I would have camped out in the line of totality with the family but we had work and school instead.
I work 3rd shift, so I slept through it.
I was at home working in the kitchen. I wish I had been on a cruise heading into the eclipse.
I was in my hometown for the first time in 4 years watching it with my boyfriend and brother-in-law. It was just awesome being back and catching up with friends and family!
I am in Charleston, SC, and we watched it in our front yard.
I already saw it.
I was home and didn’t see the eclipse.
