Desperate Housewives Teri Hatcher Signs Autographs for Fans!

I’m heading out on the town, but I don’t have high hopes for today. I know, I know then why go out right; well I’m trying to figure that out myself. Lol… No, I know why I’m going out… It’s for none other than Ms. Teri Hatcher. Yep, the star of Desperate Housewives, Lois and Clark, and one of my personal favorites… Soapdish… I know, I like the strangest movies… sigh, it’s just my way. Anyway, Desperate Housewives is one of my absolute favorite shows (for the first four seasons anyway) and I’m working on a few key cast pieces, so off we go with our fingers crossed…

5:01 p.m. – I just arrived, Ms. Teri Hatcher is filming a television appearance today and since she is Susan Meyer or Susan Delfino to be more accurate… Anyway, moving on. There are about 8 other people here and we’re all lined up to wait… and wait we shall…

5:22 p.m. – Thankfully, most of the annoying collector’s are gone or not here for the day or are out hunting somewhere else.

5:34 p.m. – It is getting so fraking cold out… I mean what’s the deal? I know I always complain about this but it never fails, sigh….

5:54 p.m. – So far no Teri Hatcher… I was just told last time she was here she signed on the way in and got here around 5:00 p.m. It’s almost six and no one is here so it’s not looking good… sigh…

6:02 p.m. – I have never heard anything good about Ms. Teri Hatcher… I’ve heard she signs on occasion but she’s a tough one. I did get her once, but she would not come over to us (just me and one other guy… does that qualify as an us?) but she did have security take my poster over to her to sign…

6:12 p.m. – Oh… oh… something’s happening… it’s… it’s… some dude… That is not Teri Hatcher… lol… Ah well…

6:16 p.m. – I know Soapdish is not the “most popular” film in the world, but I love it. It’s always those movies that fly under the radar that I like the most. But if you haven’t seen Soapdish starring Ms. Sally Field and Kevin Kline, I’m going to tell you right now… you are missing out. Hysterical… Nan’s a Man! That’s all I have to say… lol… I’m laughing inside as I type this… I should watch it while I type this…

6:22 p.m. – Plus Soapdish fits into my Elizabeth Shue obsession…

6:27 p.m. – Oh… Oh… Oh… The door is opening, yep that’s her… everyone is yelling… Teri Hatcher doesn’t even wave or look over… Granted the yelling wasn’t that boisterous… but it was still yelling nonetheless, and there wasn’t anything else going on. She clearly heard us.

6:34 p.m. – I brought my second Desperate Housewives piece with me. It’s the TV Guide pull out with Dana Delany and Nicollette Sheridan. If I get Teri Hatcher on it today, all I will need is Nicollette Sheridan and then it’ll be finished. A cast project is tough man…

6:45 p.m. – I think the taping is at 7ish sooooo hopefully she will be out soon. I always hate waiting… it’s a game I tell ya… a game….

6:59 p.m. – Oh… I just heard the music for the show… it’s started… So… That means only like what an hour? Ugh…

7:09 p.m. – Most of the photographers have left but there are still a couple hanging around. Sometimes stars hate photographers, so it can be a tough call when they are here.

7:16 p.m. – A couple more people just arrived. So, we’re around 11 people now…

7:26 p.m. – Anytime now… anytime…

7:33 p.m. – Oh, the door is opening, everyone is yelling… and it’s some random dude… Sigh… Again this poor random dude keeps getting called Teri… lol… he’s going to get a complex.

7:46 p.m. – Okay, the door is opening again, and… yep that’s her… it’s Teri Hatcher… Everyone is screaming and yelling… Teri is talking to someone near the door, It’s not clear if she’s going to come over or not…

7:48 p.m. – We’re all stilling yelling, I just shouted something like, “It’s freezing and we waited for hours…” Oh… Oh yes, she’s coming over! I need to get my posters in order. Crap….

7:49 p.m. – She’s walking over I have my Desperate Housewives poster ready. I figure I should go for that first. Teri Hatcher announces… “I’m only doing one each guys.” So I have the Desperate Housewives poster ready. I figure it would be stupid of me not to get that done. So Soapdish is screwed for today… sigh… Teri Hatcher signs my Desperate Housewives poster and then I put it to the side. I have the Soapdish poster out and I didn’t even try, but she sees it and probably because she never signs anything for that movie, signs my poster anyway. Soapdish is not screwed! Whoo Hoo!

7:51 p.m. – I then ask Teri for a picture and she ignores me… She only takes a few pictures as she does the line. Still I’m happy that I did get her live and in person. She’s one of the hardest in the cast to get.

7:54 p.m. – After finishing the line I asked Ms. Teri Hatcher if I could get a picture. She stops for me and says sure. My friend takes the photo, but since I still have my crappy camera, the flash takes a second and Ms. Teri Hatcher has already turned away… Sigh… there’s always next time I suppose. Still, I have to say, Ms. Hatcher was pleasant, and I just didn’t think she would do it. So, it’s cool
