Desperate Houswives Star Ms. Teri Hatcher Has a Yard Sale… Yes People It’s For Charity!

Ah, good times… I am always up for a little Desperate Housewives adventure and today… Ms. Teri Hatcher is having a yard sale… Say Wha… Yep, the Desperate Housewife herself is selling her wares, it’s not that she needs the cash, but Teri Hatcher is doing all this for charity.

I personally am here for Goldie Hawn.. Now, how does Teri Hatcher equal Goldie Hawn… I have no idea, all I know is, she is supposed to be here! Sigh…

Today we’re off to a charity event hosted by Teri Hatcher. There are a few interesting folks that may or may not show — our information is sketchy as we don’t know if these folks will show or if they donated to the cause. Mike is here on the chance that Goldie Hawn (yes, one of his 80’s icons!) will be here and I’m hoping for Jayma Mays (Glee) and Teri Hatcher as I have a Soapdish poster that’s just waiting for her!

It’s a really casual event so there isn’t a clear place to stand and it’s pretty chaotic. We’re watching the street from all sides since we don’t know where people will be coming from. Lindsay of the “iamnotastalker.com” shows up and Pinky arrives later so at least we’re in good company while we wait!

We notice Greg Grunburg trying to figure out where to park his black sports car. We are curious as to who may show up to support Teri Hatcher. Mike is hoping for some of the Desperate Housewives cast. In the end, it seems that it’s mostly her bandmates from The Band From TV that show up – Greg Grunberg, Mark Moses, Bob Guiney and James Denton. No Hugh Laurie. Drat!

Finally, Teri Hatcher makes an appearance and pops out to do press the press line. She looks great, but she’s really hard to get to with all the press folks everywhere. I wait for her interview with ET to finish and then I just barely manage to get her on Soapdish before she dashes back inside.

As the day wears on, none of the others on the list show so Mike is out of luck on Goldie Hawn and my Glee will remain a little empty for a while longer. Ah well! At least I got her on Soapdish which is a classic comedy — if you haven’t seen it, check it out before the Powers That Be remake it into something unrecognizable!
