Dexter’s Julie Benz looking stunning stops to meet with fans! Friends Star Matt LeBlanc on the other hand…

Ah, the cold barren arctic tundra. I know what you’re thinking, it’s Los Angeles, how can it be cold? Let me tell ya… it’s cold. Sigh, but today none other than Ms. Julie Benz star of all my favorite shows, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Dexter, Desperate Housewives, and the new No Ordinary Family. How can it be that one actress was on four of my all time favorites… sigh… Well, Ms. Julie Benz is going to be on a talk show today along with Friends star Matt LeBlanc. I need him on my Friends cast piece I’m starting so this should be a win-win… Except for the weather… brrrrrrr…

4:34 p.m. – I just arrived and there are only about five people here. Pinky held me a spot and of course Christian Bale’s biggest fan is here. I mean Christian Bale isn’t but his fan is.

4:45 p.m. – Lol, I always give CB’s Biggest fan crap. It’s like a new hobby for me. Lol… Yes, I’m kidding, well half kidding…

4:51 p.m. – It’s actually a pretty nice day out. Pinky tweeted Julie Benz and told her we were waiting for her… lol… I don’t think she got a response…

5:02 p.m. – Have I ever mentioned how much I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer…? I mean really… LOVE it! And Dexter! My sister just named her new dog Dexter cause we are such fans of the show.

5:16 p.m. – Christian Bale’s Biggest Fan STILL has his “I am Christian Bale’s biggest fan” sign with him. He mentions this, but says he doesn’t want us to photograph it. Hmmm interesting, methinks someone wants his photo taken but wants us to think he doesn’t. Uh huh…

5:34 p.m. – lol… Pinky pulled the sign out and is pointing it at CB. Yep, that’s his new name, “CB.”

5:56 p.m. – I need Julie to finish my Dexter piece, and of course I have a couple other cast shots to start… lol… When it’s one of your favorite shows you keep starting new pieces as they come out. Or at least I do… lol… Sigh…

6:03 p.m. – Julie Benz just tweeted that she’s on her way. Lol…

6:11 p.m. – Erica and I have both started Friends pieces, and I told her she could mail me hers so I could try and get Matt, but there’s wasn’t time… sigh…

6:22 p.m. – Oh, the door is opening. It’s Julie Benz with a gigantic entourage. I half expect Marky Mark to be executive producing her entrance… did that make sense? I’m a tad tired.

6:23 p.m. – Everyone calls out for Julie and she waves and says she’ll come over after. I’ve met Julie Benz a couple times and every time she has been so sweet.

6:33 p.m. – The wind is picking up… ugh… thank God I have my handy dandy gloves I bought over the Christmas break. Ah, $2.43 well spent.

6:44 p.m. – Oh, the door is opening again. Oh, it’s Matt LeBlanc! Everyone is calling out for him… He walks towards the stage door and barely musters up a wave. Man… That doesn’t bode well.

7:01 p.m. – Well, I think that the show has started. Did I mention is freezing? “C.B.” has his scarf tied around his head like a babushka. He also has a 4×6 (yeah you read that right 4×6) photo of Matt LeBlanc that he wants signed where Matt has a giant cold sore on his lip. Sigh… “CB” what am I going to do with ya! Lol…

7:03 p.m. – Of course it doesn’t help that half of “CB’s” scarf is making his hair fly up and it’s covering up his left eye. He looks seriously cold or suffering from a tooth ache.

7:11 p.m. – Oh my God it’s so cold… Pinky just put her penguin hat on. I didn’t know they made penguin hats, let alone pink penguin hats. Okay I don’t blame “CB” now for the babushka look… lol…

7:19 p.m. – its 38 degrees out… what is wrong with me? I mean it’s freezing and I’m standing her along with 20 other people in the cold to get a photo with Joey from Friends. And Julie Benz… okay it makes sense to me now….

7:25 p.m. – God, I really hope Matt LeBlanc comes over and signs. I’m starting to hear all these negative Matt LeBlanc stories from all the hard core dealers.
Oh man…

7:33 p.m. – Okay here we go… Matt LeBlanc is leaving. Everyone is going crazy and calling out for him… He kinda waves and yells something like I gotta go, and he takes off. Man that was cold. Literally.

7:36 p.m. – Man that really blows. Sigh… I guess Mr. Matt Joey LeBlanc isn’t fan friendly. Bummer…

7:45 p.m. – Okay, I really hope Julie comes out soon, cause I’m getting a tad sleepy, frostbitten… lol…

7:46 p.m. – Oh great a giant white truck is now blocking the ally. Dammit!

7:51 p.m. – People are leaving… I think that’s her! Yep, a few of us call out and Julie Benz comes right on over just like she promised. She looks so good!

7:52 p.m. – “CB” gets her to sign first and gets a few photos done. Then he gets a picture with her. Pinky gets me an autograph and also a picture. Julie is so sweet. She signed everything I have! She just takes her time and signs and signs and takes photos with everyone and anyone who asks.

7:54 p.m. – Then on her way back I ask for a photo.

I just didn’t ask before. And she says sure, and then I tell her how much I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer and she says thanks, and I probably dorked out. I wish every celebrity cared about their fans as much as Julie.

She is sweet, gorgeous, and so kind, and talented, and a whole bunch of other adjectives I don’t have the space to write out lol… So, thank you Ms. Julie Benz! And you Mr. Matt LeBlanc here’s a lump of coal for your stocking!
