Drive World Movie Premiere! Ryan Gosling! Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks! Sons Of Anarchy’s Ron Perlman! Theo Rossi

Sigh, yesterday I spent like an hour trying to convince CB that he should go for the Drive World Movie Premiere! It stars his number one favorite Christina Hendricks, and since he went all rogue and didn’t follow us last time she was out (You can read about that here) I was like, “You have to go this time!” His response… “eh… I dunno…” I mean he spends hours waiting for Jason Sudekis… For Johnny Knoxville… For Topher Grace… His number one? “I’m tired.” Sigh…

NANANANANANANA, CB, CB, CB! Today I am going for the DRIVE Premiere, it stars….um….WHO THE HELL CARES, ITS GOT CHRISTINA HENDRICKS IN IT AND I’M THERE! In fact, it’s the middle of the night and I’m wearing my batman cape and cowl in excitement as I type this… Oh yeah, it’s that kind of feeling. Okay, I do know the cast; it includes Ron Perlman from Hellboy and Sons of Anarchy (SAMCRO BABY!), Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan. I’m a very big Sons of Anarchy fan and I was really hoping to get Ron. I’ve gone for him before and he didn’t show up to the event. I had my All Good Things poster for Ryan, my uber amount of things for Christina Hendricks, and a photo for Ron Perlman. I really hope tonight turns out better than last time. AND HERE WE GO!!

6:35: I arrive late, and to my surprise, there aren’t that many people here. I spot the Awesome Anushika and find a spot in the second row. I’m mainly here for Christina, so the other people are willing to let me slide in front for her.

(Editor’s Note: Wait… Do you like Christina Hendricks? M-)

7:45: I see a gorgeous redhead on the other side of the street, and it’s Christina! Also walking with her is Ron Perlman and Ryan Gosling… they are all walking together to the carpet! We yell for everyone and Ryan comes over and signs. Christina and Ron do the carpet instead.

7:50: Ryan Gosling is very friendly and talks with fans and signs autographs.

8:00: Theo Rossi is here also. He plays Juice from Sons of Anarchy and we chant for him and he comes over. I have nothing with me but I get to take a photo with him.

8:05: Press packs up and they all leave. I am not going anywhere, Christina Hendricks is here and I’m staying…If Mike called me and said Paul Walker was at an event, I would still stay!

(Editor’s Note: I highly doubt I would ever call with a Paul Walker emergency… A Tim Curry emergency perhaps but not Paul Walker! M-)

10:20: People are letting out and we spot Christina. We yell for her and she comes over. Man oh MadMen do I love Christina Hendricks. She signs my photo and I’m literally doing an Irish jig in happiness and joy.

(Editor’s Note: now aren’t you happy I convinced you to go! Sigh… M-)

10:25: We see Ron Perlman leave and we chant for him and he comes over, after he finishes his cigar. He’s pretty nice and signs my photo. I’ve never met the guy, but considering he plays tough guy roles, he was awesome.

I leave the event skipping to my car. YES, SKIPPING IN JOY AND GLEE! I think I sent a text to everyone I know in excitement. I’m so so so happy I went. God Bless Iron Man, God Bless America. Until next time, same CB hour, same CB channel, same CB blog. KAAAPPPPOOOOOWWWW!
