Fanboy Fail Fridays! Getting Dissed By Jennifer Aniston & No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani! Doh… But There’s a Silver Lining! Autographs! Photos! Picture Disc!

I’ll tell you, even though this is a Fanboy Fail, I’m not that sad. No Doubt are one of my favorite bands, I love them… I love Gwen Stefani; I think the new album is great even though I know a lot of people didn’t. Sorry, Looking Hot is an amazing song.

So, for this round of promotional appearances No Doubt is doing an outdoor concert and also on the show is Jennifer Aniston. I have a few magazines for Jennifer Aniston so I figure cool; I’ll bring something in case she comes over.

Now, I think I’m going to do a flashback to the first time No Doubt were doing this talk show cause even though it was a long day, it was amazing. But I’m older and more tired so I’m not going to put in a full day; you know what I’m saying.

The Other Mike was here and we went to the fence to see what we could get. Everyone was in; I didn’t get here until like 6:00 p.m. Jennifer Aniston and Gwen Stefani were already inside and waved on the way in.

It’s funny to look at everyone at the barricade. This is how we look to celebrities as they come over to sign. LOL….

Jennifer Aniston’s homeless man who makes signs that say Jennifer Aniston Made Me Homeless is here. I mean you can’t have a Jennifer Aniston sighting without her homeless man stalker. Lol…

We wait, Jennifer Aniston snuck out, and no one even saw here leave which is odd because there are a shit ton of people looking for her. LOL…

I brought my Don’t Speak picture disc that I already got Tom and Gwen on last year and also my new picture disc for Push and Shove.

So, the concert is over, the setlist was good, but it had a lot of older songs. I would have loved to hear more of the new stuff live since I didn’t get a chance to see any of the universal amphitheatre shows but ah well…

Everyone is waiting, the clothes are leaving.

Then out comes Gwen Stefani. She barely waves and runs off… Holy shit! Gwen just dissed all the people here. People are so upset. I’m going to let Billy really do a proper fail for this one since he got here so early and so much happened to him specifically.

A lot of people are shocked that Gwen didn’t stop and sign for people. I have to tell you, I’m shocked too!

Then out comes Tony Kanal and Adrian Young! Tony starts signing on one end and Adrian at the other.

Now, I need both to finish my Don’t Speak picture disc. BUT it’s dark and Gwen signed in blue and I want the guys in silver but I don’t want them to sign over Gwen. LOL…

So Tony comes over and signs, and thank Jesus I’m tall because I point and say, “Don’t sign over Gwen please!” And point right to Gwen’s signature. Mind you this is over a fence. LOL… Then I ask Adrian to sign the Push and Shove picture disc as well.

and I tell him the same thing and he signs both and switches pens for me as well (I saw some others he just quickly signed and kept running out over the board so I was happy.

So, even though I didn’t get Gwen, Jennifer Aniston or Tom Dumont I still managed to finish my No Doubt Don’t Speak picture disc!

I turned a fail into a positive! Whoo Hoo!
