Fanboy Fail Fridays! The Perks Of Being A Wallflower Movie Premiere! Getting Dissed By Both Emma Watson and Ezra Miller! The Worst Premiere Of 2012! Doh!

I have been waiting for The Perks Of Being a Wallflower for so long! It’s on my list of must see films, so of course I was excited when i saw that the premiere was going to be here in Los Angeles! Emma Watson was even on the list to be here! How could it go wrong?

Well… Let me tell you… It can go wrong… Very wrong…

3:24 p.m. – I just arrived and there’s about 50 sun baked people in a row. Billy Beer and CB saved me a spot so I was near the front, but apparently it wasn’t going to matter much. Security has said there was going to be a raffle and they were going to pick people to be in the barricades… Sigh…

3:43 p.m. – You know, I have to tell you, I haven’t really been screwed over by security much, but I have a bad feeling about today…

4:09 p.m. – Did i mention it’s hot… Damn hot!

4:11 p.m. – It’s a simple set up… Nothing too exciting…

4:23 p.m. – Scotty and The Other Mike just arrived… Scotty is so excited….

4:49 p.m. – There’s a guy with two giant signs that say, Emma will you be my first date. Lord…

5:11 p.m. – Oh and there’s security. This is SEM Security and they are being dicks to the fans as usual. This is the first time I’ve been singled out though. They are avoiding anyone with a penis and handing out wristbands willy nilly to people waiting. Of course everyone BEHIND us. Nice… Erica only has her Perks of Being a Wallflower book, and she asked about the wristbands. The security guy looked at her and said, “Yeah, but you’re not getting one!” Ummm wow… Like Erica is a troublemaker. And yet here’s the kicker they gave out wristbands to some of the older dealers!!! Like what the hell. And they have like 18 x 20 photos! Seriously… What the fuck man!

5:22 p.m. – Now we are led into the alternate fan pen. It’s the “normal” pen for this setup but since they have now brought 50 people onto the fan pits on the carpet who the hell knows…

5:28 p.m. – There’s an airplane pulling a large sign that says, Logan Lerman We all Love and cheer you.

5:37 p.m. – I’m a little pissed off… But you know… I have such a bad feeling about all of this.

5:48 p.m. – Some people have arrived and are coming down the carpet. The star of the movie Logan Lehman is not going to be here… Grrrrr…

6:01 p.m. – Oh, there’s Boo Boo Stewart. People are calling him over just to call someone over and break the cherry on this premiere sort of speak.
See, the security has blocked the entire second set of doors so we’re trying to figure out how people would even get over here.

6:05 p.m. – Boo Boo Stewart is coming over! YAY! Insert sarcasm here…

Really… I’m not being a dick, It’s cool of him to come over but really… I’m in a piss poor mood and in no mood to care about Boo Boo Stewart.

6:09 p.m. – there’s Ezra Miller. he’s posing for people on the carpet…

Grumble. We are trying to get him over to us. It’s not looking good…

6:12 p.m. – There’s Johnny Simmons… I need him on a magazine and of course the Wallflower poster.

6:13 p.m. – Erica and I are calling him and calling him and calling him…

6:17 p.m. – Finally Johnny Simmons comes over!

He’s very nice and signs for pretty much everyone. I get him on my magazine and mini poster.

6:21 p.m. – Emma Watson is over by us now. We are doing everything we can to get her over. Chanting, yelling, screaming, pretty much everything we can do. Do we get a wave? Nope. Does she look over… For a second. And then, we get her back and she walks right on in. Damn. That’s pretty nasty.

6:25 p.m – We are calling and calling for Ezra Miller.

He turns and waves and then walks into the theatre. Nice. A double diss.

And that’s it. What fucking bullshit right! I can’t think of a worse premiere this year. Emma Watson was so nasty. I get you have more money than God for being in Harry Potter but damn. You know, just because I’m a dude, doesn’t mean I can’t be a fan.

Poor Billy Beer got here at 8:00 in the morning and got crap shafted. Seriously, that’s such bullshit. At least give the people who were here early the option of going in. You can say, only bring one item or something. Security at SEM is really getting out of control. Especially trying to jerk people around who are not a problem.

It really pisses me off…
