FOX All Star Party 2012! Zooey Deschanel! Lea Michele! Natalie Zea! Max Greenfield!

Ah well… I just literally got a last minute call about this FOX All Star party. Now, I went a couple years ago and it was good, but a lot can change in a couple years, let me tell ya. And since we have Theo (he’s going home soon) I am hesitant to go out. But he’s well taken care of… I told my friend we are only going for arrivals. The main people I want are people from Raising Hope! It’s one of my favorite shows and I really haven’t gotten many people from the cast.

Sadness…

Hopefully tonight I can remedy that a little. There are stars from all the FOX shows supposed to be here, but I hear a lot of the big names are not going to be here this year… Bummer…

Well, let’s cross our fingers and see…

5:54 p.m. – I just arrived and parked… We are not sure where the drops are, but right now we are in the front…

6:01 p.m. – Okay we found out that drops are off on the side. So everyone heads down there… The security set up a random barricade on the side… and I get in front but I’m in a rosebush… Literally… A rose bush… What I do to get a few autographs man…

6:09 p.m. – There are about 20 people or so here… But pretty much everyone here is a dealer so it can be chaos!

6:14 p.m. – There’s Big Mike! He made the trek out… He’s in the back though and with this crowd man who knows…

6:19 p.m. – I way overpacked for this event… Man, you have no idea… But you just never know who will show up! I couldn’t for the life of me find my 500 Days of Summer mini poster for Zooey Deschanel. Not that I think she’ll do it! LOL… I did bring my DVD cover just in case.

6:32 p.m. – Arrivals are starting… This could be either a great night or crap… We’ll just have to see…

6:34 p.m. – So far it’s no one I know…

6:36 p.m. – Oh, first arrival! It’s Jake M. Johnson from the New Girl. I don’t have anything for him, but the dude is super nice.

I wish I would have brought a New Girl piece to start…

6:39 p.m. – There’s Jane Lynch! She runs right in! Not a wave, nadda. Man, what happened to her! She used to be so nice!

6:41 p.m. – It’s kind of funny to see people doing a red carpet for the first time… There is a guy wearing grey that can’t match his sport coat with his pants… Dude, come on! It’s FOX buddy!

6:43 p.m. – TJ Thyne arrived and he said he would sign after. He’s the last one I need on my Bones mini poster! Sigh…

6:45 p.m. – There’s Max Greenfield from The New Girl!

Personally, I know Max from a little show called Veronica Mars. He was Deputy Leo! Sigh… Veronica Mars… Since I don’t have anything I asked Max for a photo.

He was super cool and laughed when I mentioned Veronica Mars.

6:49 p.m. – It’s New Girl madness! Lamorne Morris just showed up.

He is again super cool. And again I’m kicking myself for not having anything with New Girl on it.

6:54 p.m. – Jaimie Pressly is here and she said, “No.” Okay….

6:55 p.m. – There’s Cory Monteith from Glee.

He’s nice as usual and comes right on over. I don’t really have much stuff from Glee but I do get him on my GQ magazine cover.

7:01 p.m. – Wow, some dealers are ripping the vines and plants off the metal fence to try and stick photos through to try and get them signed? I mean really. Everything has been pretty cool up until now, but to rip vines down to get a couple $10.00 autographs. I mean that’s kind of shady. I don’t understand the bottom feeder mentality. Would you like to have someone rip down parts of your landscaping? no you would be pissed, so why would you go someplace where security is, up until this point being decent and then crap all over them? It makes zero sense… Oh wait, I forgot you might make 10 bucks. Jesus…

7:05 p.m. – Now security is eyeing the dealers ripping down the shrubs…

7:09 p.m. – Nick Searcy from Justified is arriving. He is super cool.

I have these two rare presskits from the series and Nick is super happy to sign them. I also told him how much I like the show. It’s really good so if you guys haven’t seen it yet, check it out!

7:11 p.m. – Oh, there Zooey Deschanel. Everyone is calling for her and… Holy shit she’s coming right on over.

Nice! …Crap! I don’t have my poster! I brought a DVD cover just to have something though…

7:12 p.m. – Zooey is signing a lot, and everyone is getting all their cast photos signed. I got her on my DVD cover and she heads off. That was a pretty cool get. I heard horror stories so that was nice…

7:14 p.m. – Gosh no one from Raising Hope yet… I’m trying to see but it’s really hard cause it’s so dark… Ugh…

7:16 p.m. – There’s Kevin McHale from Glee… I don’t need him but he’s signing a lot.

7:19 p.m. – Another Glee star Jenna Ushkowitz is arriving. She heads right on over to sign. I got her on my Glee cast poster. I’m only missing a couple people now…

7:20 p.m. – Kevin Rahm is here and I’m digging out my Desperate Housewives poster for him! Kevin plays Lee on Housewives and he is happy to sign.

He says, “Where do you want me on it?” I pointed to a spot and told him I’m trying to get everyone. He says, “Good Luck with that!”

7:22 p.m. – Christian Slater is here, my God he’s the nicest guy in the world.

He comes over and just signs and signs and signs and signs. He goes to the guy next to me but he doesn’t have anything. Christian Slater says, “What? You don’t have anything? Why not… Come on man!” Dude, that’s frakkin awesome!

7:24 p.m. – The Rose Bush is now killing me… Just a side note…

7:29 p.m. – Elijah Wood is here… And again I forgot my Wilfred presskit on the counter… grrrrrrr…

Elijah is signing and signing… Dude, he’s always pretty cool…

7:33 p.m. – Oh, who is that? It’s Lea Michele from Glee…

She has been super nice this past six months and comes right on over again.

I get her on my GQ magazine and I’m telling you… She signed up a storm… But I think she was trying to do one each…

7:35 p.m. – I know I’m missing people, but it’s so damn hard to see!

7:36 p.m. – Walton Goggins from Justified has arrived.

He’s a great guy, and again he comes over an signs up a storm. I got him on both of my books an told him how much I loved the show.

7:41 p.m. – I think those guys are messing with the damn bushes again… Seriously?

7:43 p.m. – Some people from It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia are here now… Glenn Howerton and Rob McElhenney. I again don’t have anything and honestly didn’t even think that they would be here!

7:44 p.m. – Natalie Zea is here again from Justified. She comes over and signs. I got her on both of my books as well.

7:45 p.m. – Oh, here is comes. Security saw the bushes being destroyed and told all of us that they are moving the barricade… Man, arrivals are pretty much over but still…

7:55 p.m. – They moved the barricade to the corner of the street, and so everyone is now standing across the street. If it wasn’t for TJ Thyne I would just go home.

7:59 p.m. – Of course the same people ripping down the bushes are the ones yelling and complaining the most. We’re all complaining but seriously, if you are going to damage private property what the hell did you think would happen. Come on now… Get a grip. Dude, these dealers are literally like children, Little children…

8:05 p.m. – Jane lynch is leaving. Nadda from her… Then Natalie Zea is leaving… She is going to come over but security tells her no, and now everyone is fighting… Dealers are yelling at security, security is telling the stars not to come over… It’s just so stupid. I’m getting ready to pack it in.

8:10 p.m. – One of my favorites Tina Majorino is leaving and we call her over! Security doesn’t even see her I don’t think and she comes over and signs. I just asked for a photo because I didn’t have anything. Plus, it’s another opportunity to tell her how much I love Veronica Mars. Tina said, “I’ve been hearing that a lot tonight!”

8:12 p.m. – Oh more screaming…

8:14 p.m. – TJ Thyne is leaving and a bunch of people head to the second barricade. He is so so so so so so nice. I have my poster out and he’s like, “This is such a cool poster!” Finally it’s done! Whew…

Well, I now decide to pack it in. It wasn’t a total loss, and it wasn’t the highlight of my life, but you know… It could have been worse. I just don’t understand why these dealers would vandalize private property. We’re they raised in a barn. It’s not only rude, it’s illegal! Lord, it could have been an even better night if it wasn’t for that… I’m not going to go on and on and on and on… but come on guys smarten up!
