Gary Oldman Is Hyper Awesome To Fans And Earns A Rightful Place In The MTF Hall Of Fame! Autographs! Photos! And More!

So, Scotty and I are running a tad late, but better late than never! Acting legend Mr. Gary Oldman is doing a rare talk show appearance to promote Tinker Tailor the film that he finally got an Oscar nomination for. I love Gary Oldman, he is really one of the best actors currently out there, and the stunning thing it that Gary is like a chameleon. You never know what he’s going to do or what he’s going to look like in any given part.

I have always wanted to meet Gary, I have a Fifth Element mini poster and a Dark Knight Rises mini poster for him, and also a couple art book pages for him as well. I keep hearing how nice Gary is, so I guess we shall see!

7:01 p.m. – We just arrived and shockingly get a really good spot in the front of the barricade. Nice! CB is here as well, so basically all we need to do now is wait…

7:12 p.m. – Korn is on the show as well today, and I think one of the members is walking towards us… Yes, it’s… Reginald Quincy “Fieldy” Arvizu.

He is so nice and just comes right over. He moves the barricade and says, “This is easier.” And just chills with everyone.

There should be more celebs like him man. So cool.

7:23 p.m. – It’s a nice day, I don’t know how I always end up waiting in the water but it’s my lot in life…

7:31 p.m. – Scotty has a Tinker Tailer mini poster as does CB… Did Mike get one… Nooooooooooo was CB supposed to give him one… Yesssssss… Oh, but CB forgot… Nice!

7:42 p.m. – I have my Fifth Element UK Quad mini poster and my Dark Knight Rises mini poster for him, so I’m okay… lol… But still, Harumph!

7:49 p.m. – I swear CB is talking Paul Walker again… Seriously…

7:54 p.m. – Okay, it should be almost time…

8:05 p.m. – There’s movement… Oh, and it’s Gary Oldman, everyone calls him over!

Gary talks to security for a hot second and then comes right on over. He starts with CB who gives him a gold pen even though we all tell CB to give him silver… Sigh…

Gary just starts signing up a storm… I mean like, hyper nice… Gary signs my Fifth Element poster

and then comes back our way and gets my Dark Knight Rises poster.

He is taking photos and talking to people.

Hyper nice… Like hall of fame nice… I pull out my photo book and Gary signs one of the photos inside…

Up and down and then back up and back down… I think Gary got to everyone at least twice… He literally spent like 10 minutes just signing and hanging out with everyone.

I was blown away at how great Gary Oldman is. It’s awesome that someone so talented is so down to earth as well…
