He Went From Geek To Chic! Meeting Patrick Dempsey & Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss! Signing Autographs! Photos! Can’t Buy Me Love Goodness!

Today hopefully will be a fun day. I have been a fan of Patrick Dempsey since his days as Ronald Miller from Can’t Buy Me Love. In fact, Can’t Buy Me Love is one of my favorite films of all time. Today, Patrick Dempsey is doing a talk show appearance and I’m hoping I can get him to sign a few things.

Also on the show is another one of my favorites, Ms. Elisabeth Moss. Peggy from Mad Men! Hello! Awesome. Karalee is coming today as well as Billy Beer. Karalee is still smarting from missing the Mad Men season 6 premiere so God willing this will alleviate that pain slightly.

When I arrived, I was a tad shocked! There was only one photographer, MTF reader Steve, Billy Beer and Karalee! I expected like 30 people but alas no!

Wow, this could be cool. Elisabeth Moss was already inside but Patrick Dempsey had yet to arrive.

5:35 p.m. – I showed Billy Beer my original Can’t Buy Me Love counter standee and he swears I got it on eBay. I was like… No.

5:46 p.m. – Oh, there’s Patrick. We all yelled for him and it looks like he’s asking if he has time to come over but then says, he will after because he’s late. Hey, that’s cool with me!

5:58 p.m. – Billy has the worst pictures for Patrick. They are all from Loverboy. Really Billy? One has Patrick Dempsey buried in Kristie Alley’s back. Ummm really Billy?

6:09 p.m. – Karalee graciously offered to help me get some stuff signed by Patrick which I thought was so nice. Steve didn’t have anything either so he took one of my posters to get signed too. How nice right! Thanks again guys!

6:14 p.m. – Billy thinks he’s really funny. He took a pic of my counter standee and is trying to list it on eBay. Lord. He cracks himself up.

Thank God for Karalee, it’s nice we can team up to tease Billy.

6:21 p.m. – One thing I love is that everyone here on MTF is fun and we can tease each other. I mean I’m a 6’4 dude carrying a Can’t Buy Me Love counter standee down Hollywood Blvd. There’s a lot of make fun of there!

6:31 p.m. – I have a TV Guide for Elisabeth Moss and a cast photo as well. Mad Men is amazing and Peggy is one of my favorites! So, I’m hoping she will come on over. Oh, shit there she is! Elisabeth is smoking and we yell for her. She waves and goes back inside.

6:42 p.m. – I’m shocked there’s no one else here. Literally there’s like seven of us. I do admit there are like 7 photographers as well, but only seven of us asking for autographs.

6:46 p.m. – I’m hoping it will be calm. There isn’t even a barricade which is nuts!

6:54 p.m. – Oh, there’s Patrick leaving. he comes right on over to us.

He’s very nice and signs a couple each. Karalee got a really nice photo with him and Steve got my mini poster signed as well.

Karalee got one of my posters signed and Billy got the photo of Patrick Dempsey buried in Kristie Ally’s back signed. (insert Mike shaking his head here)

Patrick signed my Scream 3 mini poster, sadly I couldn’t get him to switch to silver so it’s black and black. I’ll have to get it redone, lol…

But he signed the counter standee so nice and another mini poster as well.

He was so polite but did seem a bit rushed.

I think all the photographers made it more chaotic than it really was.

7:01 p.m. – So stoked! That was awesome and not crazy which is a nice change of pace!

7:17 p.m. – There’s Elisabeth Moss! She comes right on over as well.

She’s so short. I didn’t expect that.

So sweet. She really is adorable.

She signed my TV Guide (finished!)

and she also signed my cast photo as well.

I did get a photo but Billy hasn’t sent it yet.
honestly, I got to hang with everyone, it wasn’t chaos and everyone was nice. I’ve been so excited to meet Patrick so that was really cool!
