Lionsgate Developing Hunger Games Prequel Series Without Jennifer Lawrence!

Even with the final installment of the current Hunger Games films riding at the top of the Box Office for the past few weeks, Lionsgate is now planning prequels to there series.

Lionsgate Vice Chairman Michael Burns talked about the prequels being build within the universe of Katniss Everdeen and compared Hunger Games to the Harry Potter franchise.

The three Hunger Games books have been adapted to the four films, so any new Hunger Games prequel would be an original story.

No word yet on what the prequels would focus on, or if it would be in the world before the Hunger Games were put into place.
